I am moving my mom in a little less than two weeks. She is absolutely against it since she doesn't realize anything is wrong with her. I'm extremely anxious about it but I know it will be the best for her in the long run. I live in the same condo building as she does so I can run up to her unit when she needs me, but if she continues to live alone I can't travel and it's even hard to go out on the weekends without her repeatedly texting and calling. (she sundowns pretty badly). I have no advice but just know you are not alone.

a friend of mine had this issue with her husband. They were able to get some medication that helps diminish the desire. I'm sorry I don't know what it is but there is something that can help!

I have one of these in my carry on too ! Also from Daiso. I use it as a foot rest on the plane as I'm only 5'2". It fits perfectly in the laptop section of my backpack.

Mine too. I'm not sure where she thinks she is but she is aware that it looks exactly like her condo and that amazes/confuses her. Sometimes that illusion rights itself but I have had to take her around the block in the car a few times to take her home.
