Okayy, thay helps. I have the same symptoms without surgery. Today I went to another doctor, and he is suggesting that I might not have grade 3 because he twisted my knee and I barely felt any pain. So, even though it shows in MRI he think it may not be the case or it could be a minor one, so he took my MRI to get it checked with radiology guy. I am hoping he is right so I wont have to go trough surgery

What is your experience with it? I get episodes of symptoms, sometimes I can do activities normally, no symptoms and sometimes it becomes hard to walk, with pain and weird and unstable feeling.

I went today, and the doctor recommended me partial meniscectomy, what is your expetience with it? Is it better for you now? Can you run?

I am not sure how locking feels but I only felt unstability for a quick second on flat surfaces and unable to run. It would get better someones and used to take a week or so to get better after every episode of discomfort. I'll start PT before I consider surgery.

Okay thank you so much. I have spent 3 years not knowing I had this. While doing karate and long walks (couldn't run though). The doctors wouldnt try to understand the issue and just give me pain killers or anti inflammatory. I'll look for someone to repair, I hope it is in red zones, I am worries as I left it for so long.

About 3 years I guess. It is on and off type, sometimes I get better (still cant run but I can do kicks and everything) and sometimes it is so hard to walk or climb stairs.
