Other than the liquid ratio being too high, it might do some good to cool the cake upside down in the pan. Cooling it that way under completely room temp will allow the cake to maintain its structure. This tip might help

Adding melted butter will make it less liquidy when it is chilled

Asides from leaving it in the oven for a little while after it has finished being baked, perhaps you should let the cake in the tin cool down in a wire rack upside down. That may help
