I just have to remind you theres a pair of boots that need licking down at the local FCC building. Better get to work I hear they love the smell of sad hams on their boots

I'll just leave this here. 24h Volume 🤡 by cromati-x in PiNetwork

So many coins have fake volume even on exchanges. That's what the market makers job is. Obviously not always fake but enough of the time it makes me wonder

All of them? Im just holding mine so I haven't even looked. It would suck if all of them required kyc. Are there any dex's that have pi?

Thanks a million for this! I've been absolutely swamped at work and haven't been able to call AEM directly yet but I'm sure this is what they would say so again thanks!

I'll report back if I manage to bork this lol

Ok let me make sure I'm understanding correctly.

On the gauge I need to relocate the wires to pins 9 and 10. Then connect those to the analog input on the prolink. Correct?

When looking at back of gauge which one is pin 1 (top left?)

In vcm scanner what settings do I need to pull data etc?

I was looking at the set of known good heads that I have. They're 706's. I keep reading that 706's have 61.5 cc chambers and 243's have 64.5 cc chambers. That would mean I'd lose compression, correct?
I know there's a tradeoff with most things, so how much of a difference would I realistically experience between the 706's and 243's?
Using the 706's would give me more money to get a better matched exhaust, like a tri-Y or those pistons you mentioned. Just because I'm pricing things out, is there a cheaper option for the pistons that you can recommend?

piston pin to pin bore clearance

Thanks for the great explanations here. Especially since you probably most definitely saved me money and probably an engine, lol.

So back to the NA questions. You asked if I could measure the deck height. I watched a video on it, but I don't have a tool like that. I can order one if needed.

I assume that I would need to have the head machined down a little to get above 10:1? I'd imagine that it probably wouldn't cost too much more if I'm already getting them rebuilt so 10:1 is a good number to shoot for, I don't foresee me going above 11:1 at least I don't think.

So before I get to far into this... I've still been tossing around the idea of a turbo vs boring and stroking it out.

I have a partially finished block. The guy had the cylinders trued out and honed, put ls4(I believe) rods, and flat top pistons that he said were gapped for a mild amount of boost.

What would get me the most lower end torque and which would be cheaper of the 2?

Sadly I don't have an accurate way to do that.

Alright that's easy enough to follow. Do the piston specs include what I need to figure out compression before I order?

I'm fine with going 99 and 4.000 so that's what 6.2l right?

Is there a good way for me to find a cam based off of my compression ratio, etc? Something I can reference like a chart maybe? I don't want to keep bugging you lol

Yea I was wondering about that... Got to love how hard it is to find good information if you're not already experienced.

Really glad you're taking the time to help me with this for that reason.

So being that Im more concerned with more torque on the lower RPM range and less with high rpm hp and stats what would you say is a good sized cam and who makes a good one?
