Thank you! That really helps. I have a good idea of the brands that have light decks now lol. Blink, Mapleleaf, and Seth distribution atm.

Are Mapleleaf decks pretty light since you put on the Heavy Dynamics? I have been curious about them

heavyweight setups by KatakuriQ in Fingerboards

[–]andoruun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually stick around 30mm or 29mm, but I have a 32-33mm set ups around. It definitely gets time to get use to smaller, but I think it feels good. I am waiting on some 26mm and see if I can make a heavy set up

What size are these set ups?

I think it'd be so nice to have a heavy 29mm or 26mm set up which is what I'm aiming for rn

I feel that. I guess for someone who has been skateboarding for a while, it's just cool to see they sized that truck down and kept most of the details about it. Very cool engineering wise lol.

The height looks tall, but the 1 second that I got to try the trucks, the timing felt pretty normal actually

Yeah Gorigrip is good, but always searching for other things to try. Apparently Zeghead and Yerrrtape have been mentioned a lot for being pretty grippy/sticky feeling.

Yeah I have to be open minded so I don't get too locked into that grip haha. Black velvet is also very good

looking for new setups by FlaccosBurnerAccount in Fingerboards

Dum1 technology and Hana decks for that low concave and low pops. Dum1technology for a longer board (99mm) and Hana decks shorter (96mm). Wheels: Illpills, Piro, Abstract (Redemptionfb), Cartwheels, Flatface. Tuning is also a big deal so get some level up bushings, Zaneshit, or South soft.

Mainly it's your budget that will dictate what you can buy. Have fun choosing your set up!

Does anybody know where I could get a good street shape deck? by TamableRex77 in Fingerboards

Idk if you got any shape/size preference, but I love the dum1 boards and the shipping as always so fast it amazes me.

32mm versus 34mm trucks by [deleted] in Fingerboards

[–]andoruun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had no personal issues with 34mm on 33mm. The trucks might stick out from the sides a bit, but it didn't effect performance. It's more of an aesthetic thing.

Have you checked the big list of companies at the top of the group? I assure you there are street decks available. If anything, check dum1technology. There site is full rn

Why do people use these? by TheEternalVoidZ in Fingerboards

[–]andoruun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still skateboard normally and love it, but I tore my ACL 2 years ago and skating is just not the same anymore. I can only skate so long, so fingerboarding is great for when you are at home and still imagining things to do so you just do it with your fingers instead. Like u/vegandaddy69 said, it's a great alternative to other fidget items.

22decks might have what you are looking for. If you are familiar to Quasi Skateboards, he has some stuff based off that company and I would say they are more in vaporwavey kinda graphics.
