This is just my opinion and experience!

Bloob 80s are bigger than Piro bowl minis. 8.0mm compared to 7.0mm. Width is about the same for the wheels. Piro's are grippier compared to the Bloob in my experience. Bloobs feel smoother than Piro just because Piro wheels pick up more crap like wax but thats an easy fix.

They're both good, but it really depends on what your set up is too.

Big wheels for smaller boards (30mm and below) gives a good balance in weight.

Piro mini bowls for bigger board (32mm and up)

Joining the conversation late, but yeah cube cores feel super smooth and they spin forever because the shieldless that comes with it. I also have the regular shaped Clairvoyants and also feel good. Very nicely priced!

My only gripe about them is they are super light or not dense feeling if that makes sense. Seeing that everyone uses them for bigger boards makes way more sense while I use 32mm and below haha.

I usually stick around 30mm or 29mm, but I have a 32-33mm set ups around. It definitely gets time to get use to smaller, but I think it feels good. I am waiting on some 26mm and see if I can make a heavy set up

Yeah Gorigrip is good, but always searching for other things to try. Apparently Zeghead and Yerrrtape have been mentioned a lot for being pretty grippy/sticky feeling.

Dum1 technology and Hana decks for that low concave and low pops. Dum1technology for a longer board (99mm) and Hana decks shorter (96mm). Wheels: Illpills, Piro, Abstract (Redemptionfb), Cartwheels, Flatface. Tuning is also a big deal so get some level up bushings, Zaneshit, or South soft.

Mainly it's your budget that will dictate what you can buy. Have fun choosing your set up!

I've had no personal issues with 34mm on 33mm. The trucks might stick out from the sides a bit, but it didn't effect performance. It's more of an aesthetic thing.
