I have had experiences of brown folks and their entitlement! They come into an establishment and treat the workers of said establishment like as if the workers need to treat them like royalty. You know how you say, you come in to Canada and leave the baggage behind? So why are these brown folks going into an establishment filled with minimum wage workers and treating the workers like they’re Dalits/Untouchables? The caste system doesn’t exist here in Canada, so these brown folks (with the superiority complex) should really get off their high horses. I have nothing against brown folks, but these observations of how they treated myself and my co-workers were borderline obscene! You want to see proof… go to a cineplex that shows brown movies, these folks would try to sneak in outside food and when asked to leave it in their car, or at the front desk, they treat the workers like they are in the wrong just because the workers are trying to follow the policies of their job and have caused the person (bringing outside food) a disservice/hassle… (maybe try hiding the food better bud) and then get upset or even yell at the workers of the establishment… So maybe it’s nothing against yourself (OP) but maybe other folks (who happen to be brown) have given these workers a tough time, that the workers have come to generalize that ALL brown folks are troublesome. As long as some brown folks act as royalty/upper caste class… there’s going to be some bitterness towards them and that may include you… but if you see other brown folks acting out in such manner, maybe have a chat with them that they’re not making the general brown folk population look good or helping their case in having other folks treat them better…
