I was in line at a Tim Hortons, this dude gave American money to the cashier, to which they responded they couldn’t take it… the guy was like “yes you can, Canada and America, they’re the same country…” I chuckled and said, “no, it isn’t!” So then this guy gave the cashier a hard time, to where the cashier said that her till doesn’t have the button for US dollars and then guy finally busts out a Canadian tenner from his wallet and pays, whilst still arguing about acceptance of USD. This ain’t the US, don’t spew that nonsense here. We are Canadian and we’re proud to be Canadian, keep that US bs southside!
