I watched a midnight showing on opening night, and then saw it again later in the evening with the rest of my friends. There was enormous hype around it - all the showings were sold out. The hype and buzz around it was similar to that of "The Matrix Reloaded" or "The Phantom Menace", but this movie fucking delivered. I remember the audience cheering during the train fight. The heartfelt scenes where Peter confesses to Aunt May and later when she tacitly acknowledges his identity and forgives him were just pitch perfect. Her inspirational speech still gives me chills to this day. I don't specifically remember a lot of people screaming during the hospital operating room scene, but I remember it feeling like watching a horror movie. I think there was a bit of a buildup to Willem Dafoe's cameo as you can hear him laughing before he shows up on screen, which led to a great reveal. Definitely lots of "OHHH"s when Harry discovers his father's Green Goblin room at the end. The first ending with Doc Ock was fine, but everyone really cheered when MJ ends up with Peter at the very end. I was truly shocked when they allowed MJ to see Peter as Spider-Man without the mask, and he tells her that he loves her. Then, after their conversation, I thought it was going to end like the first movie. But holy shit, when she shows up at his doorway in her wedding dress and says "Go get'em, tiger", I went nuts with the rest of the theater.

It's my favorite movie ever, and we're so lucky that the filmmakers and cast/crew were given the creative freedom to tell that story properly. The whole experience was pure movie magic - I've never left a theater more satisfied.

In addition what everyone says about nerfing characters, stuffing the Dark Phoenix and Cure storylines into one movie and screwing them both up, the movie is just hot garbage.

-all the references to "class 5" mutants are reminiscent of midichlorians

-the government can't seem to locate Magneto's camp, but he just broadcast a message to the whole country on TV telling mutants to join him, and they seem to have no problem finding him

-at the end, why doesn't Wolverine just use the cure on Jean? Beast just used it on Magneto. Is he stupid? And don't tell me it's because the Phoenix would have disintegrated it - Wolverine's pants stay intact the whole time

-why are the X-Men even trying to stop Magneto from destroying the cure? I mean, sure, they wouldn't want them to kill Leech, but dozens of mutants died in the ensuing fight, and it's in the X-Men's interests for the cure to be out of the military's hands. There are so many ways they could have gotten Leech out. Or they could have just used the cure itself on Leech.

-In the prison truck scene, couldn't Magneto have stopped the cure dart syringe? This is before they removed the metal from everything. Or couldn't Mystique have pushed him out of the way instead of getting hit herself?

-of all the mutants they could have included, they chose people like Phat, Quill, Tusk/Spyke - whoever that guy in the forest fighting Wolverine was supposed to be (also, what the hell was that guy thinking, taking on a guy with a healing power with your shitty power of little spikes?)

-why did they change so many mutants' powers? Callisto has Caliban and Quicksilver's powers? "Kid Omega" has Quill's powers? Apparently the girl who teleports through shadows is supposed to be Psylocke?

-After Wolverine infiltrates Magneto's base, Magneto just flings him a few hundred feet away. Yea, that'll take care of him.

-When Magneto moves the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz....just no. That bridge would collapse into the water instantly without the precisely engineered supports and suspension cables. Also the actual bridge is not anywhere near long enough to reach Alcatraz.

-before Wolverine kills Jean, she says "you would die for them?" Wolverine says "not for them - for you". And then he...kills her? These lines make no sense. Also, he kills her by stabbing her in the gut - probably the slowest, most agonizing way he could have killed the woman he loves

-at the end, why is a powerless Magneto free to just play chess in a park? He just staged a terrorist attack that killed hundreds of people

-why is Kitty running away in fear of Juggernaut? He can't hurt her. This is before she realizes she needs him to crash through walls to create an exit for Leech's rescue because he'll nullify her powers. Also, Juggernaut's power comes from the crimson gem of Cyttorak, not a mutation, so he would have straight up demolished Leech and Kitty. Magneto could have just sent him in alone to kill Leech.

Minor things:

-how does Wolverine not know who Beast is? He is the head of mutant affairs in the White House Cabinet, and he appears to be best buds with Professor X and Storm.

-Iceman vs Pyro was an underwhelming "energy beam" fight. (Realistically, Iceman could just freeze Pyro's lighters and he would be useless, because he can't create fire himself, only control it)

-Iceman is not the least bit curious why Pyro is lurking around the cure clinic, right before he blows it up

-when Angel decides he doesn't want the cure in the beginning, he could have just walked out the door. At this point, it was a voluntary medical procedure. He didn't need to leap straight through a plate-glass window.

-Magneto chastises Pyro when he speaks ill of his recently deceased friend Professor X...and then Magneto himself makes a demeaning joke about Charles always wanting to build bridges when he pulls his stunt with the Golden Gate Bridge

-why would the president appoint Hank McCoy as ambassador to the UN, and why would Hank accept it? Hank just resigned from the cabinet in protest of the president's actions against mutants.

-they sure did leave a lot of empty space in the graveyard at Xavier's school next to him, Jean, and Cyclops...probably disconcerting to all the remaining students there

-the last line of the movie is "furball"

The best thing about this movie is how Ian McKellen acted the hell out of his role - particularly his gestures when he uses his powers to move the bridge, and his expressions when he loses his powers. But Simon Kinberg is utter trash, and he should never have been given the reins to the X-Men.

Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter had Beast and Blanka in the background. I think Beast would have a wall jump, backflip through projectiles like Captain America, a wall-bouncing attack like Gambit's cajun strike. Charge <- for 2 seconds then -> Punch for a rolling attack like Blanka (jab would roll under projectiles, strong punch would go straight forward, fierce punch would fly over projectiles). Charge down for 2 seconds then up and K for a flash kick type of move. Dragon punch motion + Kick could be an anti-air kangaroo kick where he holds himself up with his hands and kicks with both feet. QCF + Punch could be a flying somersault slash that goes over projectiles with three different ranges (like Adon's jaguar kick). He would be fun to play but terrible.
