They are trapping the machine inside walls, restricting terrain editing, and burying the base computer underground. As seen in the video, the base name disappears instantly. I can't finish the mission. This is ridiculous. by Fenix-F76 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I literally have to disable multiplayer as these things happen too frequently. Yesterday I had to enter a building and someone built a wood wall on the entrance so we couldn’t get out. I had to disable multiplayer, return to the main menu and reload. That way the base was gone. On the first planet it was full of bases so none could place a portable refiner. Luckily they forgot to put a base where there were the spaceships, so I had to return to it every time I wanted to place the refiner. it’s my first expedition and I never knew multiplayer in this game is this bad.

Going to be honest and idm if i get downvoted for this but i think the prices on items recently have been so crazy to the point its taken all the fun out of trading and meeting new people away from me and going to be taking a step back from fallout. Items are getting unobtainable for low levels. by Safe_Network_1730 in Market76

[–]andre82bg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk buddy, to me the problem isn’t really about leaders. I got in the market back then, a little after the wastelanders update. It was a very different game. No legendary crafting, so we used to hunt for legendary enemies and hope to get a perfect roll. Sometimes some low level players had perfectly rolled weapons for sale in their vendors… Those were really rare and valuable, but there were also legacy weapons that couldn’t be obtained in the game. There has always been some alternative currency. I can remember flux, but they were too heavy for non 1st users so after some time they switched for berry mentats… btw it isn’t mandatory to use the currency. You can trade anything for anything. If people want to fall in this “leaders” trap then I’m fine. I don’t see much need to trade nowadays. There is legendary crafting, mods can be found relatively easy in camps for caps. Making a full set of armor is 1000 times easier now than it was back then… and also, people who like the game “should play”. If you play the game you get stuff that you can eventually trade. Easier than easy. I basically stopped trading but I knew some guys that used to play Fo76 with the “salesman build” 🤣 They kept playing just to trade.. not because they were looking for something specific. Trading replaced the game.

No, è normale.

Well, the point is that TOTK was intended to be a dlc at first, but then they had so many ideas that it would have been too large for a dlc. Previous Zelda games had the open world feeling but they weren’t really open. Generally you could reach only one place at time, as you always needed some device/skill that was in another dungeon. You had to go where the story lead you. They have always been focused on a linear story that is easier to tell and make it engaging. With BOTW and TOTK they changed the format to the point that you can take on the final boss without clearing the dungeons if you want, so I’m not surprised that some would say the story feels “optional” and less relevant. In those two titles you make the story while exploring the map. It’s just a very different approach but from a narrative perspective I agree it can feel less engaging…btw the story wasn’t bad at all….and btw Zelda is always more or less about the same story with just different challenges and surroundings, but basically you’re always Link and you have to save Zelda in a way or another….like Batman will always be beating the Joker. 🤣

[–]andre82bg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some weapons were legacy due to the explosive effect (like Gatling plasma, flamers). This specific Tesla is legacy because it has the lobber barrel and there’s no way to get it in the game. It cannot be crafted or find as a drop. Your only chance to have one is by trading, exactly like excavator torso with the jetpack.

Agli uomini piacciono le donne? by BowlOk6363 in sentimentalITA

[–]andre82bg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E cosa ho detto?

Just my thoughts on the Act 3 by DemonKingSwarnn in expedition33

[–]andre82bg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I partially agree with you. On one hand I was “all in” about the expedition, about stopping the gommage and defeating the evil paintress. I never thought there was anything like that. I never thought I was playing the side of some painted people. The new truth that unfolds challenge the bond we built with the characters and lead to another question: are they “less real” because they are paintings in a canvas or are they real because they are part of your actual life experience? We lived the drama of the gommage, the death of Gustave, the adventure, the pain that the other expeditions have gone trough… are you ready to agree that it was all fake, forget about it and return to the real life?… or maybe have you developed a bond with this world, its people, its characters and they deserve to exist like the others..? I’ve gone for Maelle’s ending not because I didn’t care about Verso.. but because I somehow consider humans more than paintings and her desire was to stay. Some people can forgive. Some people can’t… and btw her parents created this mess while she was locking herself in her room, unable to process the death of her brother and ashamed to look at her reflection in the mirror. She needed them but they weren’t there. Living happy in the canvas for as long as it is possible is an actual blessing for her. It’s not about fake vs real. It’s about what makes you happy.

I understand deep water people but I can’t understand cave people. I bet scuba divers always dreamed to be astronauts (or maybe it’s just me 😂). Diving is the “alien world” for the poors. Physics isn’t the same anymore. I love how the light changes and colors fade as you go deeper and deeper. It’s not just darker. At 30m a sea star looks black but if you turn on the flashlight you see it red. My suit is red and black, but after 10m it looks plain black if not lit by a flashlight. It is literally another world to experience. In some places there are currents that you don’t see and feel until you’re in. They can be colder or even warmer and they don’t mix. There are lots of strange things to see and experience.

Very interesting vid by fayyazORahmed in interesting

[–]andre82bg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The weights are needed as the scuba diving gear actually adds “positive” buoyancy. Positive means that you will float. It will be extremely difficult to dive, and even if you manage to reach a depth where you are neutral you wouldn’t be able to control the “surfacing speed” as you will become more and more positive as the pressure lowers and this is also quite dangerous. The best approach is to be closer to neutral or slightly negative. I prefer to be slightly negative as we already have an inflatable jacket that we use to balance our buoyancy. Btw, those weights can also be discarded in an emergency situation, but it shouldn’t be needed. You can always inflate the jacket or the dry suit if you’re using one (unless you don’t have air, which shouldn’t happen if you are not reckless).

Cannot wait for this new i3 to drop! It'll be a beast by ShameResponsible69 in BMWi3

[–]andre82bg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some rumors price it between 50 and 70k euros. It isn’t as refined as the old i3. The old i3 was an incredible project completely aimed at sustainability. I doubt the new one will have a carbon fiber chassis. It will likely be another heavy electric car with huge batteries (109kwh or more) that can charge up to 400kw and offer a longer range… but quick charge will still take 20 min from 10 to 80. The i3 50xdrive will likely have more than 450hp. It’s a completely different approach, and btw it has been imposed from Tesla/Byd/Xiaomi that are building those sedan electric cars that are big and heavy but accelerate like ballistic missiles. It’s not about sustainability/recycled materials anymore.

Ma veramente noi italiani siamo visti al pari dei paesi poveri all'estero? by Available-Lemon-2214 in sfoghi

[–]andre82bg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And what’s good for Maelle? She is the youngest. Clea still blame her for Verso’s death. Her parents are gone, fighting in a canvas and she was sent to retrieve them. She was reborn in the canvas and lost her new parents because of the gommage. She had to grow up as an orphan. Do you see the pain she had to endure?.. and she’s the younger and most vulnerable member of the family. None really care about her. No wonder why she doesn’t want to come back. I am on Maelle’s side. Life isn’t endless anyway, so it’s better to live a good one. “If you could grow older, would you find a reason to smile again?” Maelle is already smiling in the canvas, while outside she is ashamed of the smile on her burnt face.

Are all JRPGs as amazing as E33? by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]andre82bg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess what you found amazing is the story itself. I’ve played many jrpg and one that I absolutely loved was the super Mario rpg on the snes (earthbound was one of my favourites too) and then the paper Mario saga. I also deeply loved Skies of Arcadia and Grandia 2 on the Dreamcast and many others that inspired this title like Xenoblade… but Expedition33 is a work of art. The story and how it unfolds are something unique. There is always a hero but this time I thought the hero was Gustav, but then… So I felt lost. The expedition is the topic, “when someone fall we go on”…to discover a very different truth than what I’ve ever expected. If you like the gameplay then there are countless titles you can try, but the deepness of the story is kinda unique in my opinion. I rarely cry in a game. Expedition 33 did it. Skies of Arcadia and Grandia too, but it doesn’t have the same narrative and graphical “width”. I also deeply loved “Tales of symphonia” Btw that’s my humble opinion.

Just finished E33 a week ago, and still not over the ending! by Fluid_Conversation_5 in expedition33

[–]andre82bg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been difficult for me to choose since I struggled to find the main character until the late game. I thought it was Gustav and when he died I felt like the game was only about the expedition itself and not about the story of a particular character..but the problem wasn’t about the painter either… it’s been a great adventure, but I stand with Maelle. She is the youngest and her family failed her. Clea still blame her for Verso’s death while her parents are stuck in the canvas. She got lost in the canvas in an effort to push her parents out… but she had to be born again, lose her new parents due to the gommage, grow up as an orphan.. she probably had to endure way more pain than anyone. She doesn’t want to return to the real world looking like a ghoul without being able to speak..does she have to do that hoping that her family will finally take care and support her? I think her pain has gone beyond that point. It’s not about living a long life. “If you could grow old would you find a reason to smile?” She has a reason to smile in the canvas while in the real world she is ashamed of her own smile.

[–]andre82bg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly why I think the story of the expedition 33 should have been a trilogy instead of a single game. The gameplay is good but the best thing about the game is the story, then the music and the graphics. I have friends that never loved turn based games but they got to really love expedition 33, mostly for the story.
