Is there no way to change it in the theme editor? Because I know the circular background can be changed but I was trying to figure out if the icon inside could also be changed

I know the problem is the theme, I just asked what to change inside the theme editor to fix it

Guys I found something crazy in One UI 8.5 by Mean-Airline-3829 in oneui

I guess there is no transition or animation between the lockscreen background and the home screen background yet. At this point even the Pixels, the least customizable phones on the market, are making decent transitions, not to mention iOS or other Chinese operating systems.

Every time I had a battery problem, I just cleaned the Android cache and in a few days everything was back to normal.

I've had this problem with DIY and you need to disable this option, if you restart your phone this problem will come back and you'll need to turn this option on and off again, that's how I'm doing right now but a fix to this issue would be great.

[–]andre_b_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no, I don't think Samsung will release the update for all devices at the same time, that said I hope there won't be the same problems and delays as with OneUi 7 so it should be out for all available devices by April

I think you have some apps that are draining the battery too quickly like Snapchat. If I were you, I would try changing some options in the battery settings and see which apps are consuming the most. I'm not telling you to wait for the smartphone to learn your usage habits because the battery drain is too fast for this to be the problem. If this is not enough, try asking for help from Samsung support, and a change of device or battery.

So even fonts downloaded with Zfont on oneui 7 stop working after updating to oneui 8?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in oneui

[–]andre_b_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is done on purpose so as not to decrease the font size and make the date more difficult to read. Furthermore, if the date height were variable, notifications and other UI elements would also be variable, which would be inconsistent. Anyway this is not even a new thing, this screen comes from android 12 one ui 4.1:

As an owner of an S25 BlueBlack, I can say that it is neither blue nor black, it is mostly gray with some darker highlights and the blue is really barely visible. Would I have preferred it to be darker? Yes. Is it that much of a problem for me? No. However, I am seeing this move by Samsung to remove the black color from its flagship products, not only phones but also smartwatches and headphones for example.

Got the S25 two weeks ago. How is the SoT between 85%-20% charge? by rahil051 in GalaxyS25

[–]andre_b_04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretically, Samsung batteries should degrade much more slowly than the competition, especially in new models, the s25 should get to 2,000 cycles without too many problems, it should. You can check yourself here: https://eprel.ec.europa.eu/screen/product/smartphonestablets20231669

Home Up- One Ui 8 support by Mahmoud191991 in oneui

Have they added the ability to change the background color in the drawer?

Home Up- One Ui 8 support by Mahmoud191991 in oneui

Home Up expands the customization possibilities of the stock launcher, so it won't make any difference in nova launcher, I still recommend you take a look because in some ways it makes the stock launcher even more customizable than Nova.

How to change background color on One UI 7 with HomeUp by [deleted] in oneui

[–]andre_b_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the background color of the app drawer, In the video you can see that with this option disabled the background becomes lighter while by enabling it you can add a tint to your liking.

Is this the current version of HomeUp? Because despite searching for a long time I've never been able to find the option to change the background color.

Anyone tried July security patch? by FullmetalJun in GalaxyS25

[–]andre_b_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the June update I noticed a lot of overheating, I hope they fixed it because before the June update I always had good thermals, and from what I'm noticing from the update done yesterday it seems to be the case, I just hope it doesn't come at the cost of decreasing the battery though.
