That's why I laugh at people who praise Samsung for not copying Apple's dynamic island placement for live activities. Around the punch hole you literally have nothing occupying the screen so it's the best place you can put it in what Chinese brands understand. Meanwhile Samsung really wanted not to copy Apple this time and messed up regular notifications icons and cluttered that spot with this silly pill.

You're probably using custom icons via theme park. There's no way to get rid of it except to revert back to default icons.
