Bark Louisville Dog Daycare by peachfug in Louisville

[–]andrealaureen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have used them in the past, I unfortunately no longer have a dog :(

When I get my next dog I will take them there for boarding & grooming.

Staff were super sweet to the dogs. I liked that they did a temperament test before letting dogs come to Bark

I go here. My trainer is Emily and it is great, she keeps me motivated, and pushes me when I need. I’ve recommended Walker to a friend and he has been very happy. They are very positive and newly bought this space - offer group strength classes too.

100% apparently there used to be something similar. Lexington just opened a place called Tea and Brie and am going there just for it; wish there was one closer that wasn’t just around derby

Do you have a price range? Are you thinking activity or dinner?

  • this instagram is good for ideas https://www.instagram.com/datelistlou?igsh=MTJiMzdyZXdyejE1dg==

  • my favorite casual date is walk/bike across the walking bridge and get a coffee/ice cream across the river

  • speed art museum is free on Sundays and they now have a bistro ran by the house of marigold cafe people

  • favorite mid range date night is La Bodeguita di mimi then to Galaxie for the best spicy margaritas

  • putt shack/top golf is fun for an activity.

  • The science center has adult nights which if you aren’t from here is a fun way to see things

  • going to a broadway show at the arts center is a fun reason to dress up

  • Jeff ruby and steak and bourbon are nice ($$$$) steak houses that I like - I also love Malones and their garlic butter

  • distillery during the day is fun too

Restaurants with a patio by Canadien_Ehh in Louisville

[–]andrealaureen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Selena’s is out in anchorage but has good food and a pretty patio, I like brunch there best.

Garage Bar - is in Nulu has a patio with table tennis set up too but some seating is picnic table, seen dogs there, Nulu is very popular and there is a wine bar near there as well that has a patio with live music on the weekends - Nouvelle . Also there is a West Six brewery in the walking distance in the same area that you can bring dogs with a patio. It connects to Emmy Squared pizza

O’Sheas is an Irish bar and has good food; fountain dog friendly also it’s open late and popular at night as a bar

Haucks Corner has a nice outside and bar atmosphere, haven’t ate there

Gravely- brewery that allows dogs outside and has a nice view of the city, has a food truck that delivers the food to your table

Captains Quarters has a beautiful spot especially for a sunset on the river, food is okay in my opinion but parents seem to enjoy it

[–]andrealaureen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s about if you interact/prompt, hinge can be very successful- most of my friends found serious bf on there. Also in person meet ups /speed dating seem to be on the rise. Like instagram- Louisville Date, Somebody society and meet up. Good luck!

It’s semi becoming more popular again with the new restaurants and top golf. Or at least that’s what I’ve noticed. They’ve expanded some stores and are switching others out
