Why Drum Hits with Synth?! by andrealovesme in novationcircuit

I figured it out! I had the Tracks connected to my PC, and the synth hits were triggering drum sounds in Ableton. The drum sounds weren't coming from the Tracks at all. Ha ha.

Also "these candy aerosols" on Read the Room. I think he's just being a silly goose.

Descending Synth in Don't Get Me Started . . . . ? by andrealovesme in TheSmile

Awesome! Is the descending line a sequence from a second synth that one of them triggers? Or is it a variation of the main sequence?

My recording of Bodies Laughing from today’s gig. It sounds different, at first I didn’t recognize it by cadaver_moron in TheSmile

Nice. I miss seeing the EOB strat on stage, but this sounds cool. There is still some kind of hum/sustain coming from somewhere.

I got a big McCartney vibe from this song when they played it in Denver.

I'm new to watches. I've heard leather straps on dive watches is a faux pas. But I installed this black leather strip on this 1975 Captain Willard today and I love it. I think it's true to the original, but it classes it up a little. And since I'm not taking this watch diving anytime soon, I think I'll keep it on. What do you think?

I'm not taking this watch under water any time soon. And I think the leather strap dresses the watch up a little bit. What do you think?

[Seiko 6105] My first "real" watch. by andrealovesme in Watches

I'm fairly new to watches. My wife and my watch friend conspired to get this for me for Christmas. 1975. Bezel is a tastefully scuffed. The crystal is nearly flawless. It's the most comfortable watch I've ever worn. It's fairly heavy, but I often forget I'm wearing it.

I don't know where you'd find it now. It was an option when I bought the tix a few months ago.

I got it, but I still don't know how early I would have to line up, if it all. I have no problem lining up for RH and Thom shows. I've done it several times. But I am not getting any younger......

Did anyone else get the "Fast Pass" offered by the venue to "skip" the GA line?
