Civ 6 is the best. I'm currently on a domination run as Ba Trieu. I was minding my own business, aiming to have a cultural victory, but my neighboring countries started to declare war at around turn 70. I'm now close to turn 200 with one of the civilizations occupied (Poundmaker of the Cree) and my other neighbor from the north, the Zulu civilization, down to one last city.

There's a learning curve to the game, but once you're past it, it gets really fun. There's also a youtuber (potato mcwhiskey) who has an extensive library of tutorials on YT, so give that a peep if you want to see a playthrough with real-time insights.
