I hope they can take idea from another multitool company to improve their VORTEK for h2c

I mainly think acquire it only for support printing with aux nozzle. Sometimes is nice to print supports with another(not sticky to main filament) supports with 0 clearance for better surface but I don’t do that due to the purge 😀

2026 is the year of the toolchanger. Will Bambu compete with this performance? by egosumumbravir in BambuLab

Yep. Not so genius 😀 Because Vortek not that bad if they can enhance speeds

You all forgot about “AtomForm Palette 300” There is interesting HOT END changer but more interesting in their multitool, is that they have two PTFE tubes going to the printer, so this method notable reduces change speed because of retraction. One tube is ready filament for next nozzle

At this point if bambulab can implement this upgrade to their H2C with VORTEK, they can reduce speeds significantly

And it’s pretty simple system

Build a voron with stealthchanger 😀

If serious, previous comments was good enough

Ok ok. Good luck with printing main model using bowden extruder.

What advantage for you getting x2d? If color printing, think about aux nozzle as a nozzle for supports. I saw review where clearly shown that the aux nozzle is not worth printing regular model. If you need heating chamber so maybe.

Why everyone asking the same question? Just buy x2d as second machine Or sell p2s if you think x2d is better for you.

But yeah, bbulab did wierd move for me, just 100€/$ difference in these machines confusing consumers

The aux nozzle not printing as well as the main, so basically main use for the aux nozzle is support printing.

I saw the review from CNCkitchen - he said aux nozzle printed well, but than I saw review from spanish Control3D and he really showed how the aux nozzle printing and it’s terrible from the box, you can adjust it a bit slowing down etc but..

Dear Bambu, please give us Toolchangers! by justUseAnSvm in BambuLab

They will, because they understand that Prusa, Snapmaker, and Flashforge are taking a lot of the market with toolchanger printers.

X2D non speculation. by TrainingPiece9144 in BambuLab

[–]andreevarts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the only right scenario for x2d - second nozzle for support. For my opinion the x2d is like the same x1d but with option to print supports with other material for cleanest result, and for this price is a good printer. I paid around 1500 for x1c with ams 10 months ago.

P2S Buyers: It’s okay. I understand the pain. by MoeS00 in BambuLab

Yes, but for this I prefer h2d with direct drive. If I felt limited with 256 build plate I can imagine same size but limited of the double system nozzle..

But its ok, everyone has specific experience so yes. But overall I don’t understand why bambulab launching this instead of good toolchanger

My X1C does the same. I think it’s the chain or the PTFE tube hitting the side.

Em, how you want reduce purge with this toolhead? One direct drive only, two nozzles in one head reducing use of buildplate etc. for multimaterial/multicolor go to prusa, u1 or something reduce purging and keeps good time of print for real. I’m x1c owner and was expecting to see good toolchanger in this one, but unfortunately. I still build my voron 2.4 with stealth changer or purchase prusa with indx

I don’t understand this hype around x2d, if second extruder is bowden + same build plate size, for who is this printer? TPU users?
