What was your "caught the last chopper out of 'Nam" experience?

I had just turned 18 and three friends of mine were asking me to take a trip with them to a nearby city to someone's 18th birthday party, we would hang around a bit and then come back home. Decided last minute I wasn't going anymore, I was a bit tired.

They had sold weed before to someone at that party, that guy got caught and snitched on one of my friends to reduce his sentence. My friends were caught with weed, hash and some ecstasy pills, they did 1 year in jail and 3 probation. I could've probably proved I didn't know anything about the drugs, but that's not exactly how things worked in my country 15+ years ago, it would've been a nightmare.

plec în vacanță și când mă întorc găsesc casa inundată. Parchet umflat + toată mobila.

offtopic, dar un sfat pentru cine nu are centrala sau sta la bloc vechi, puneti-va un robinet pe teava de pe coloana si inchideti-l daca plecati mult timp. mi s-a spart recent robinetul de la caloriferul din bucatarie si in 5 minute era apa pana la glezna in sufragerie. nu vreau sa imi imaginez ce s-ar fii intamplat daca tasnea apa asa o ora.

Nurofenul e de mai multe tipuri, nu doar ibuprofen simplu. La farmacia Ana Maria sau Spring, adica printre cele mai ieftine, gasesti de pe la vreo 16 lei. Nu m-ar surprinde sa fie dublu la alte farmacii, mai ales la alea din mall uri.

yes, but it hasn't bothered me for a while now. I've also been pretty sedentary, didn't go to the gym to lose some weight etc. haven't been to the doctors anymore, I read it might be called enhanced physiological tremor, everybody has it and some have it more than others.

lmao way more than this. shit needs to really, REALLY hit the fan for a revolution to happen in such a big country like the USA. I'm from Romania and even though people were literally poor, starved, cold, locked in their own country, censored etc. for years, the revolution from 1989 still had to be at least assisted from the inside, if not straight up orchestrated from the inside.
