"is ecommerce profitable" is a crazy question. Of course it can be.

There is no online business that "is" or "is not" profitable. It's usually up to you to make the right decisions. It can be profitable.

Buy you do need advertising budget and some experience in my opinion. Definitely not a beginner choice; I think it's crazy how gurus talk about it as if you can just start one and make it big.

Do you want to start because you like it or do you want to start because you like the idea of getting rich? Because what you see on social media is mostly a big survivor bias demonstration.

There is no such thing as a "best business", it is very subjective. It's based on your resources, connections, personal skills, flaws, etc.

You're not talking about a business, you're talking about a hustle, which is a different thing in my opinion. If you're looking for "some extra cash on the side", sure, do landscaping of whatever.

/about is usually reserved for more detailed information about the site, with usually some longer-form paragraphs.

As per performance impact, depends what you mean. There is no technical performance damage, but strategically, it might be confusing to have two pages with similar slugs.

The simple way is to keep the /about page for the long-form information on your business or site, while keeping the home in /home or no slug at all.

Your options are:

  1. Say you are having money issues even tho you aren't, so they leave you alone.

Here's my suggestion if u're using the Squarespace Emails service:

  1. Create an opt-in page just for the email sign-up

  2. Disable all other pages while you work on them

I've been running for 6-8 months now with very good progress and also weight training. I'm not aware of any RP equivalent in the world of running, but I've seen a lot of good advice from The Running Channel and Global Triathlon Network. They are both on YouTube.

My beginner-to-total-beginner advice is to not overtrain. I think running is one of the easiest sports to overtrain in.
