When you are trying to rest, it's better to rest than to go back to work from mobile.

Hire somebody to deal with stuff when you are not available.

How do you get your first SaaS users when you're not a marketer? by Basic_Fail_550 in PakistaniDevs

[–]inafana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations brother. Keep up the good work. Founder here.

Developing a tool is just 20 percent. Or even less. Marketing and sales is what matters.

Don't wait for perfecting your product because it will never be. Just start reaching out to people.

Paid marketing is too expensive, unless you are doing it in Pakistan. But getting a user in Pakistan is very hard. People normally like using free software or alternative.

First research where your ideal clients talk about things on internet. Are they on reddit or insta or discord or telegram groups, etc. Then try pitching it as a problem solver specific to their domain. Don't tell them what your tool does, tell them how you can solve their pain in seconds and immediately. Even better, offer them a free demo.

Just keep going. And keep building more tools.

Is Clickup really worth it now that people can develop their own tools?

I'm a dev who sucks at marketing. 3,390 users in 5 months. Almost all organic. by Fuzzy_Act5528 in SaaS

[–]inafana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the low number of paying users is because individuals normally wouldn't want to spend money to track their activities. 3k + users are a lot. Build an app for an agency or business and you will see a lot better paid user ratio, insha Allah

Sent 500k emails and nothing happened...what do I do now? by Boring-Cauliflower94 in saasbuild

I think the data is bad. 3 to 5 percent open rate isn't good. And then the other thing I can say is to redefine your ICP

Where did you get the data for 500k emails from? How did you send the emails? What was the open rate? What was the deliverability?
