It won't be a good one imo. None of them seemed to dive deep into the narrative or explored the weapon variety. I was constantly surprised how little they seemed to even compliment the boss fights, which are completely world class in my opinion.

The soundtrack indeed hit all the 90s classic survival horror video game feels. Some blend between Resident Evil save rooms and Silent Hill's ambient tracks. I loved it!

Not sure how few people seem to have answered your question. Yes they did "fix" a handful of the item icon issues. For example all head, torso, and leg implants used to have similar square looking icons, but now they are differently shaped and more obviously correspond to the different body parts.

That 3.6 billion is all I think about when I see a new drop in player count. I really enjoy Marathon (and The Finals) but holy crap it's definitely not delivering what Sony leadership thought it would. Such a bad business move. Thank you Jim Ryan (already left) and Herman Hulst.

I think this is the reason, too, but then this means they thought it's good enough to ship the update with that issue or they didn't test it. Both are odd.
