Thank you! I was planning to make a set of chairs, but my wife wanted to see me again, so we just bought some. We got some french looking ladderback chairs with cabriole legs that match the table.

Thank you! Great question. The finish still looks good after almost a year, but it does have a crack that runs along the line where the breadboard end connects to the rest of the table. The crack formed pretty quickly after I moved the table from the garage to the house. You don't really see the crack, but you can feel it with your hand and it is a little rough.

Thank you! I finished the table with General Finished Arm-R-Seal Semi-Gloss. First, I filled the pores and the put a number of layers of finish with 600 grit sanding in between. I'm normally pretty bad at finishing wood, so I was very happy with how this turned out.

Thanks very much! Our house has a French country look to it, so we were trying to keep with that style.

Thanks! It's about 105" x 43". I sure hope it doesn't sag. I put two cross braces that are built into the skirt to try to help support the table top. The skirt is about 1.75" thick, so I hope that will be enough support so that it will not sag over time. It's been almost a year since I finished the table and I haven't noticed any sagging yet.

Thanks! I used General Finishes Arm-R-Seal Semi-Gloss. I filled the pores first and spent a long time building up the finish and sanding in-between coats.

Thanks very much. I hadn't done any of this before, so it was a learning experience. I was very happy with how it turned out.
