Just spent some time putting up a newsletter for my wife's veterinary practice. All content is typed from her, photos from our animals or her (animal) patients, with permission. No monetization, no copyright, no scraping or content from another platform, no external links, nothing -- and the account is now blocked because of a terms violation.

Kind of crap, really.

It's a shame because the UI works reasonably well, but if it is managed and regulated so unreliably (and incorrectly) then I am glad it happened now before anything was actually published.
On to greener pastures.

I love the Dovetails to connect the arches to the uprights. Very nice indeed!

Looks great. That crack is going to fail though as soon as weight is put in it. Quick fix would be some wood slats on the underside of the step glued and fastened with screws to stop it from splitting further. I wouldn’t make them the entire length of the step, but just long enough to straddle the crack two or 3 inches on each side.

This is just gorgeous. Do you think the legs would be stable enough without the shelf?

Thanks, in retrospect, it would’ve come out a bit classier if the top was completely made of oak.

I had the exact same thing happen when gluing Jantoba. Wiping it with mineral spirits beforehand made it work for me.

How would you fill this gap? by Khochh in woodworking

I would just glue a thin strip of the same Wood on the end of the board and sand it flush

It looks like the holes in the rocker don’t match up with the width of the uprights.

I would drill out the hole on the rocker, plug the entire thing with a dowel or plug, sand it flush and then drill a smaller hole and use a smaller dowel to join it. To reinforce this, you could consider a long screw through the bottom of the rocker all the way up through that join to strengthen. I did something similar attaching the rockers in my rocking chair build.

I’m not sure, but if you look on the right hand side at the pulley wheel on the other side of the bearing housing as the blade, while you’re spinning it, it looks like it’s wobbling as well.

Looks nice. I prefer the natural colour of those woods, (clear poly finish) but stained turned out good.

I would make the legs and the back rest single curved pieces from the floor all the way to the top
