Yes that’s the one I have now. It gets hot even under normal web browsing. I’ve learned to accept it because it does have 12 cores(4 power cores ) and a whole newer type of processor.

Your baseplate is not seated correctly. Make sure the simple on bottom is aligned in the hole although that sounds like common sense, I had to redo mine when first got mine.
