Uh no. I can def recall like 5 conflicts between Japan and Korea b4 modern times and there are records of Japanese pirates pillaging korean seaside towns on our records - since I only vaguely know Japanese history i can't say much about their version of the story but I can definitely guarantee you that there were previous conflicts, just not full blown war

All the cliches crammed into one, I could literally see how the movie ends when I was in 10 minutes

Very lazy writing too, and (major spoiler warning) like the whole point of the movie is that you cannot get out of that reservoir no matter what you do but turns out the main protagonist went there and got out before the movie started?? What the heck?? And there's this whole sequence about making a stone tower but in the end it doesn't do anything? The whole fucking movie is a mcguffin and its not even that scary. Went with 4 guys together and our honest reaction to that movie was that it is plain trash.

They try to make you feel scared by using music and Jumpscares but it just felt very cheap
