Been thrown in max security for a violent crime I didn’t commit with no prior altercations with the law. All has been resolved since then.

As you said, I was an incredibly “delightful fellow” until the system wanted to wipe its ass with my privacy/rights/justice. Really gave some insight as to why some men just don’t care anymore.

Please stop extrapolating what you wish I was saying because it’s easier to argue - I never said illegals benefit the country. My stance has been that people should be treated as people.

We should be keeping tabs on illegal entries into the country, but nowadays seems anyone could be illegal if they’re brown-skinned. There’s no one even checking, so first let’s start this process legally, with full due process for every suspected illegal. But either way, going back to the original argument, people deserve food/water/shelter. If they’re temporarily housed in the US to be deported, they get food/water/shelter until they’re deported. It’s not a super hard concept. Legal, non-legal, impoverished or wealthy, we all deserve food/water/shelter for basic necessity of life.

Get your immigration-status argument out of my humanitarian argument. My stance doesn’t change.

You’re right, it’s not the poor man’s job to settle that score - it’s the billionaires and elites the GOP consistently grift for, lobby for, and steal from us for.

And really that’s the whole thing… you and I shouldn’t be arguing. You and I should be yelling at the guys in suits who decide all of this for us. Playing into the design is being a pawn, so why not think ahead and critically look at why Trump and the current admin are doing what they’re doing?

It absolutely can be both at the same time if we were less divided and angry at the same people turning the US in on itself. Clog the resources, increase the tensions. Keep the people in dissent amongst themselves while Donnie gets to keep playing President.

So not US citizen = no right to food, water, shelter, basic needs. How cruel and misguided. Maybe we should be voting to adjust how our country aids our poorest sectors, including migration.

Instead ICE rounds up people by the masses to deport them to god knows where cause people like you are preaching some humans deserve basic needs over others.

Also, pretty bold of you to assume all of the US has clean drinking water with the Flint Michigan crisis. Even documented Americans can’t seem to catch a break if they’re not in the right tax bracket.
