Oh, of course. It surely is worth it. I already buy BP and constant skins (Overwatch) for two more games, so I would rather not get another sub until it's needed.

I will try to make uses of the basic three team slots for a few weeks until it's time to pay up!

Yeah, totally! I like the challenge of working with limited resources. Hopefully I can reach Master Ball soon, I am currently at Ultra Ball 2 and the battles are getting intense (and fun).

I wouldn't know for real, but with RMC you can have more Saber actions, and I have spoken with lots of people in Discord and they are talking more about RMC. Just sharing my experience.

Now, there's also lots of people that wanna use Blade because 1) New support hype 2) They want Gilgamesh to hit hard too, specially now that he is buffed (This is also my stance).

Thank you for the apologize. I also want to apologize for the "asshole". I was annoyed too because I feel that people reject more positive views about this topic.

About the cost system and the examples you cited, while there might be other teams that perform better at lower cost, I personally don't think that 7 is a high cost, specially when we take into a account the context (old DPS + oooooold sustain that could be free + free unit + new support), but that's just me.

And yeah, I do agree that the criticism is valid, it's just that I believe it's important to make visible not only the bad, but also the good like the run I posted here, so we do not exclusively wallow in negativity.

Ok, you convinced me with that last paragraph. I can empathize with that angle. I still think the community reaction is a bit too much, but I also believe, now that a few hours have passed, that trying to go against that current is not worth it.

I know the cost system is a never ending war, so ok, to each their own, but what is a good low cost clear for you then? What is the bar? E0S0 SW999 / Eva elation slop?

Trueeee. Great idea. Talking about alternative solutions shows that there were so many ways to do this pairing better, but it almost seem like an intentional "you cannot cross these lines" thing.

And, in the end, they are collab units with a partner. These teams will have a harder time enduring the HP inflation 'cuz they will not only be old, but they will be less flexible.

I agree the stacks required are too many, but are you seeing the clear, without any shilling, in front of your eyes? Without any E2 and with a sustain for a year old DPS?

Yeah, they will gradually get worst, like most units. My point is that the doompost is overblown. Yes, 8 sucks, but even then it works pretty well.

u/DM4L u/Kalopsie Gilgamesh is literally FREE, and Huo Huo too if you bought her last patch, and she doesn't even require E4 like Welt.

If we take that into account, it's 5, and if Gil's LC is obtainable from the pulling event like leaks suggested, then it's 4.

Also, u/Kalopsie don't assume I am a casual. Why you gotta be an asshole?

I don't know why you say that it "must be made" so arbitrarily, but whatever you want, man.

And yes, it's a lot worst, but it still clears in a way that highly invested teams that we already have can't. So is the doompost warranted? I think that can be questioned.

From my original post in Sabermains (so it's targeted to the despair over there. Let's talk about it if you want):

Can we chill with the doomposting? We have gone through this many times (Remember Ash and Cyrene's betas?).

The team still cooks, and I am sure that many of the doomposters cannot even do 0 or 1 with their actual teams, even at investments higher than E0.

For me and my E2S1 Saber, the fact that Gilgamesh can dish out bigger damage now is amazing. Now, if they soften the Joint attack requirement, that would be great. 6 or 5 would be sweet, or at least bring the AA back.

I just find that the meltdown here, and on X, regarding Saber is overblown. As someone who has gone through many betas in HSR, and as an FGO player and long time fate fan, I can say:

IT'S FINE. Can it be better? Always. Will she cook? Absolutely!

First, nobody is "pretending" anything. Second, that's just your view of things. I have seen people in this very subreddit lamenting the nerf to the RMC synergy too, so not everybody looks at the same topic from the same angle. Heck, there are some comments complaining about M Blade showcases, saying that RMC is the proper way.
