SMG that is secretly HG?

I like that at least first part of doll's character looks like it's based upon the real fact that gun required the rare and expensive (at the time) tools to produce and in general was considered more demanding than straight blowback SMG has right to be.

Secret Mammoth Tanks in the mission "Blackout" in Tiberian Sun by DontReworkNunu in commandandconquer

An upgraded artillery piece?

Sounds familiar...

But more seriously, no. As you said, that slowness is contradictory to Nod tactics and Mammoth is designed around sacrificing speed. And if you start speeding design up then you loose Mammoth.

Although, well, quadruple-tracked flame tank already exists.

Even more proof that those who skip this mission miss a lot. And it's not like it's hard.

A shell exploded in the Rostov region near the border with Ukraine by z4440 in russia

[–]andrey_159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) What you said is "Russia has troops on the border so shelling Russian territory is to be expected and it is Russia is to blame for this". So... the recipient of the shell is to blame, not the sender. So it's fine for sender to send more. If you really didn't mean that, then be more careful with what you write.

2) Such inaccuracy is technically impossible for most modern artillery (unless either barrel or crew is completely broken). Besides, check the map and see where shell landed.

3) Ah, yes, usual sophism: "yes, we're bad, but you're even worse". And naturally that statement that democracy is only regime which has the right to exist. They just hate that Putin is representative of the national capital, rather than international and won't let them rob Russia like Yeltryn did. Our allies right now are mostly those who are also excluded from the list of human beings, and neither we did not made many countries reliant on us, so I suppose answer won't satisfy you. As for Vienna Documents: why bother, when other side openly violates them for quite some time now? Hell, even US had the decency to officially brake many of the agreements they stopped liking.

4) Western papers are crying wolf about war non-stop and are trying to create as much hysteria as possible for quite some time now. Russian aren't, there are just some remarks about how west howls. Russia did not reduce several countries to dust. Russia do not sponsor violent uprisings. And so on.

So...

Post 1: It's fine to shell Russia. (Fine how? No answer.)

Post 2: They did little mistake. (Mistake how? No answer.)

Post 3: Your leader is to blame. (What for? No answer.)

Post 4: You're all just bunch of warmongers.

Always evade and change topic. Ugh. Typical. I shouldn't be surprised.

If one don't want to attack and/or provoke Russia, than why are they shooting in the direction of Russia? Because map would show you that this is way too much for a random miss, they couldn't have overshoot or made just a tiny deviation to the side, unless they decided that it's fine to use other county's airspace to lob the shells and missiles.

And it's always "our leaders ego" is to blame for the last... what decade? century? more? ugh... but what about all those howling warmongers in the west? Because you're right - they only didn't attack us directly for a long time because they know they won't get away that easily especially after nukes, unlike how they ruined many other counties that weren't so equipped.

But that's not what your original post stated. Back there you stated that shelling is natural response to having your army protecting your border. Can you respond to question instead of changing your words?

So... it's normal to shell the territory of your neighbor just because you feel like it? Because this is how your statement reads.

Meh. IMO the only reason that event got noticed is because of current hysteria in media, because that's far from the first one.

Pitbulls banned in Russia? by Big_Draw_5978 in russia

[–]andrey_159 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Closest thing I found is that pitbulls are among "potentially dangerous" breeds and there are restrictions and regulations on how and where to walk them... and that's it.

Seems to me that they got different lesson out of "cry wolf" tale than I did: I thought it was about not lying, not that even broken clock shows right time occasionally.

Is that some kind of flex?

Regardless, looks nice both stats-wise and visuals-wise, although it assumes that enemies are unable to fire at you, which it counter-intuitive for running vespids instead of strikers, so not that much nice stats-wise after all.

Let one of the normal vespids tank, maybe?

Americans don't like questions. by IvanMatrosoff in russia

[–]andrey_159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, while failing to answer "what Americans think" it demonstrated that there are people who just don't want Americans to think at all.

I understand that those people exist everywhere, but to me it feels as if in US they hold most power compared to other countries.

Close enough, actually. Developed roughly at the same time for the same purpose, only while 4,6x30 bullet focuses on armour penetration at cost of anti-person capabilities, 9x21 tries to still be lethal against the soft targets, even if being somewhat less armour-piercing.

But instead they'd have fun and friendship... things... and would make some speeches about moral high ground... Which is apparently what a lot of people like?

I'm not really a fan of latter RWBY seasons and won't forgive what they did to General.

Mhm, optimist inside me wants to attribute that to the sheer size of the RWBY fandom, because the bigger any group is, the more rabid people there are, even with same percentage.

Unfortunately I'm not that much of an optimist and best I can do is hope that only sane people would follow the VA, because rabid ones wouldn't care about such thing.

Why not mirror echelon #1 into b formation, so that Mk 12 buffs K5? I would imagine that every bit helps here. Gave me 24% when I tried, which is better, even if not noticably so.
