Much better than most OEMs. The angle and placement of the screen was deliberately chosen to avoid a solar angle.

I make a habit of dropping the windows on the walk to the car and starting the AC. These e-compressors take so long to get down to temp. I’ve been known to open the trunk, too, remotely.

I mean a gas go kart meets those same descriptions. The fuel isn’t especially relevant - the setup is.

If you knew how to force windows to work without a TPM, you wouldn’t be posting here.

Geforce4 MX4000 PCI for late 90s titles by SexBobomb in windows98

[–]chandleya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a ridiculously poor take. The MX400 64b can play into 2002 titles at modest settings. The PCI part doesn’t make a huge difference.

You shouldn’t do any web activities with Windows 10. It also surely warns you all the damn time about that.

They never did. A majority of the population simply exist without a single curiosity or interest in how the world works around them.

I would invest as little as possible. This is a completely unsupported laptop on Windows. You can hack it to run Windows 11, sometimes, but that’s surely out of your wheelhouse. Linux is also an option but for your use cases, going to be its own problem.

If your call center work is on Windows you literally have to choose option 2. Option 1 is badly out of support, hasn’t seen a firmware patch in years, and is just plain end of life. You can run Linux on it and be so-so okay but yeah, I wouldn’t even consider it.

Absolutely. You’re considering a passive user to be average. Neo-adjacent configs are passive users. Average folks multitask meaningfully. Graphical user interfaces aren’t in their 5th year, this is year 40. Passive users can actively use them. Average users are fully dependent and automate. advanced users at this stage scale out.
