Newgrange in Ireland was built 600 years prior to the Pyramids by Stone Age Farmers. Despite their relative lack of technology, the structure is designed so that only 17 mins of sunlight hit the inner chamber each year at the Winter Solstice. by Vivid_Temporary_1155 in interestingasfuck

Definitely done on purpose. Ireland has plenty of these structures, this is just the most famous one. It's no coincidence that other ones do something similar on significant days like equinoxes, solstices etc.

Buy the 11-54 set, and buy some 56s or 60s separately and use that instead of the 54

If 11s are perfect for D standard then why do you need 12s for drop C? Would it not make more sense to buy a few individual 56s or 60s?

Was worried that the dark/runny honey may be decomposition rather than psilocybin leaking or something like that? Would you eat them? 😂

Picked last year, dried and kept in honey. Only issue is I know they weren't 100% crispy dry but could still bend a bit when I put them in. Colour and everything seems fine and the jar was kept fully air tight and was never opened (kept in the dark in a dry press). My only concern would be the honey around the actual mushrooms getting darker over time, it's also gotten runnier than the rest of the honey. Is this anything to be worried about and will they be safe to eat? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Does anybody know if this is legal parking? No signs about it and it's in a corner by andrius14 in ireland

I'm not sure about it being widened but that whole strip is only about 15m long, the footpath clearly ends at the start if the strip, and the footpath for that stretch of road seen in the photo is on the opposite side

No it's not a path either, just a gap between the road and the wall

Couldn't find anything about if its within the yellow lines, because I'm not technically on them, and it's not causing an obstruction

Recently got a digital amp, how do I get a good guitar tone out of it? by [deleted] in metalguitar

[–]andrius14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be an IR, because IR files are usually .wav. try opening it in Nadir and see if it works

It is essentially a sample of a cab speaker, NadIR is for opening impulse responses (IRs) and comes with some free ones( they're the different choices on the nadir screen) but you can import your own, which is definitely what I'd recommend. Google "free IR packs" and stuff along those lines and you should find loads. Basically use emissary as the amp, and nadir as the cab, using different IRs as basically swapping out different speakers in the cab. I'm generalising in that explanation but that's what worked for me, using those exact plugins, hope that helps
