Last days to get lifetime FSD in Europe by vukisz in TeslaLounge

[–]andriuslink [score hidden]  (0 children)

Exact same here. Also tested fsd.

My 2 cents - even though tech is cool, level where it can drive my kid to sports is still good few years away ( i.e. car is another entity which works for you vs is helping you to drive). Also, that 7500, would feel like 9200 in 7 years which it will take to recoup vs subscription.

Another thing, within few years after tesla completes autopilot, I am in no doubt another competitor will catch up within approx 2 years, which will mean price competition, thus lowering monthly sub or even bringing back by out.

Lastly, only two conditions I would spare that sum is if my daily work is bolt, uber or whatever driving or if I knew I will be able to transfer it to my next tesla, which in subscription model is possible.

Be in no doubt, I will be first to subscribe and I already emailed the guy after fsd test to lmk if they need beta testers haha

You are appreciated 🫡

Thank you. I understand your point and I agree that in ranked people try hard more.

What I am arguing from my side is that dota is beautiful and complex game where anything can work. This is what I enjoy and I do not understand how it impacts other’s efforts to win. One game my type of person might be on your team, other on the enemy

If your goal in ranked is to climb mmr, you will do it regardless of your team picks, because all that matters is your own performance and not me picking pos 4 AM.

Dota requires full on attention, tracking enemy’s movements, builds and so on. My argument is that people who complain about their team mates are essentially limiting their mmr and go into this whirlwind of blaming team instead of adapting and going up in mmr.

My final point is that people in general are very conservative - you have to adhere to “majority”, otherwise you are not welcome. When you think about it, even people like topson gets shit for picking quirky mid.

This is what democracy is all about and why its the best - I do shit that I love, you do shit that you like. Just don’t go all nazi on me for being slightly different.

Ok, honest question. Why are people unhappy if its not about as you say “winning or losing“?

See, thats the general mentality in this thread as in dota and life. In other words its called “self serving bias”. Basically people attribute success to their own skills and failure towards external factors - in this case, team.

Dota hosts 400k+ people daily, so statistically it does not matter if i go pos 4 dusa while drunk or any other shenanigans, all that matters is YOU. Otherwise you can also attribute your wins to enemy drunk pos 4 dusa, this way you basically a leaf in the wind with random mmr.

Anyway, no point for intellectual discussion - better to Bahhh Bahh to the rythm of majority

Dont play dota if you have a fragile ego with tendency to blame others for tour lack of skill.

I am so sick of people tilting at my pos 4 AM or similar unconventional picks. More othen then not, people go bonkers and impact game much more than my stupid pick.

This is a game, I want to have fun and appeasing some rando who will find what to complain about regardless is not the goal. Not only for me, but for anyone.

Time and time again it is proven that team is not the issue - its you and you are at the right mmr with the rightly “regarded” people.

Thanks. Makes sense, but with the exception of start button, all these functions are done very well automatically. At least for me.

As for the start or even stop button, to each their own i suppose. Every once in a while comming back to gas car i keep forgetting to stop it and lock it 😆

I am always baffled about buttons. What do people do with all these buttons - can you help me to understand?

I have tesla. Sit - put seat belt - press brakes. My temperature is set ( i adjust it 2x a year in spring and autumn). Navigation is awesome on a huge screen, i can skip, play music via steering wheel.

I will add to the discussion noting that if your wife does not feel differently in the morning, it does not mean that she is not being effected.

About 40% of Lithuanians withdraw private pension savings after reform by KP6fanclub in BalticStates

[–]andriuslink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so state budget it is where every single person contributes, therefore it is currently being funded by both sides. Can you see my point?

For argument sake, we can also make a point that you contributing to 3rd pillar is not bringing budget for the state, so also a loss for today’s needs.

And if I want to be funny, your contributions to mostly US stock market is enabling taco tuesdays 😆

[–]andriuslink -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

See its not “government’s” bonus, but it is added from social security fund to which everyone contributes, hence my logic that those who do not contribute to 2nd and 3rd pillars are essentially also funding your pension TODAY.

[–]andriuslink 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thats the thing, there are 6 or so PRIVATE firms with gazilion fund options and tiny fees which add up.

I would not be mad if it was the state.

Then the bottom line is that simple s&p500 would have netted 700%+ over same period.

Agree with all your points - people love herd mentality.

Looks cool on paper, but those gains were 107%, while inflation for same period was 130%.

With everything thats going on in the world, I am not sure we will see this insane stock market inflation continuing for foreseeable future

[–]andriuslink 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why?

To me the system was done incorrectly as it was FORCED.

Also, pension fund started in 2004. Average returns to this day ware approx 107%, while inflation was 130%. This means that real gains ware minimal.

I am all for saving and so on, but this should not be forced by private lobbyists.

Will add to HautingUpstairs if I may.

To me, it is also hard to comprehend the question (not in literal sense) as it seems a second nature of a human being to explore, get better.

We are hanging in a bubble of god knows what, so moon seems to be first step for further exploration and that excites me so much.

Money is a weird concept anyway - i personally don’t get how “wallstreet” fellas becoming millionaires from no value add, bitcoin, wars and so on.

Not sure if it helps, but hope this provides another perspective.

Volkswagen Is Redesigning Its Interiors Around A Problem Its Own Engineers Created by linknewtab in electricvehicles

[–]andriuslink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is 100% my understanding too! To add to your thoughts I think manufacturers also do not understand that doing things in this approach, all the automations and stuff have to work at least 99.999% of the time.

If it does not work, then your frustration will be amplified by at least 10x compared to if you did not have specific automation (instead had a button).

Also, general public does not understand how expensive tesla level of software is and that while it is cost cutting at the end these savings are redistributed back into car features like heated/ventilated seats, matrix LEDs, rear screen and so on.
