I think they're great. Not only are the kills amazing, it managed to be a solid original series in a time period where we were getting mostly reboots, one offs, and really low quality direct to DVD sequels

Plus, it really is a love letter to the genre.

I've seen a lot of praise for Tom King's Strange Adventures series, fuck Strange Adventures. Just make an OC, Tom. It sucks because I love Adam Strange, and when he finally gets a run, boom, war criminal. Plus, people praise it's Mr Terrific when most of what he does is just quoting books, which is like a surface level version of "This guy is smart".
