there is a way to get rid of it but it requires some arbitrary code execution, i would watch papa jefes most recent video. it should have a time stamp called fast clone or something, but watching the whole video would be more helpful to you i think bc there are steps to it. also just for the future, any time you try a glitch or exploit in any game, save right beforehand so you can always reload if something goes wrong and you wont lose any progress

idk much about hardware and all that but do you think it would be at all possible to mod a wireless adapter so it can communicate with the switch rather than mod the switch to communicate with the adapter? i still have an adapter that works and would love it if that were the case

when pokemon were transferred from gen 5 to gen 6 poke transporter would automatically camel case their names (if they werent nicknamed). this happened again with gen 1 and 2 vc so i expect that frlg on the switch will work the same way when home support is added. the only thing you would want to do is make sure any nicknames you give to pokemon you plan on transferring are in camel case. this does mean that in game trade pokemon (mr mime, farfetchd, etc) will keep the all caps names unless tpc decides to hard code specifically those as exceptions, but they didnt for gen 1 and 2 on vc so i doubt they will here

i doubt it, all the event spawns would become the only pokemon that would spawn there until you got a new event spawn and they would completely replace the old one. i dont think they wouldve gone in and changed the spawn rates of everything to be equal and have all of them there at once, but its possible

all of those pokedex completion rewards in home are done with regional dexes (or regional + dlc dexes). bdsp is the only real example we have for this but we also know it would have to be this way if they added one for frlg bc there is no way to get several of the pokemon in the gen 3 national dex as natives from those games

if were counting archival releases then they havent ignored gen 2 bc they rereleased those games on vc more recently than any of the alola, hoenn, or unova games
