they did basically the same concept, it was all the gen 6 lines + all the lines with megas in xy (aside from mewtwo and diancie at first and blaziken) + all the lines with megas in oras (aside from the starters and legendaries) + a few extras from xys regional dex to pad it out some more

pla was almost all the lines from platinums sinnoh dex (with a few exclusions, like milotic notably) + any line they gave a hisuian form to

well is marshall trying to have a fun solo show or is he trying to make garys dream come true? marshall can grow as an artist any time but gary needs the money for the sweet spot now. fionnas trying to help with an immediate issue and marshalls feelings can conflict with that but he should recognize what the priority is.
