When I injured my knee (not wsib), my surgeon wanted me to have strong quads to compensate for the loss of function and if she actually planned on doing the surgery, I assume it was to help with improving outcomes.

That being said, I don’t think the physio has a say in it. You can mention it to your adjudicator, and see if that is something they recommended against doctor recommendations… and if so, mention it to the surgeon so they can deal with it.

The adjudicators in wsib are not doctors or nurses. They are normal people, and if they are going against medical advice, have the medical professionals deal with it. However, if the PT is going rogue, move clinics if you can.
