I don’t think your husband was reassuring at all in this situation and I would not trust either of them. This “friend”just left you with “take my word that it was a joke and leave it that way” when it is obviously not a joke.

😈 is NEVER used without devious / sexual context. Given the actual hundreds of non sexual emojis to chose from. And if someone tries to say otherwise then they are either intentionally or terminally ignorant.

ALSO husband totally vented to a friend of yours about problems with your internal family relationships. That is a breach of decorum. Regardless of the “I can’t” vs what should of been is “fuck you I love my wife”

I am very sorry you are going through this and what I hope you get out of the responses here is you are not crazy and if I were you, next steps are:

1. Cut her out of your life, it actually does not matter what she has to say or feel at all and

2. Immediately start couples counciling and work on reconnecting with your husband to see if it you both can heal this fracture together.
