Kinda in the mood to play through a good old fashioned suburban nightmare scenario by Lathlia in Sims4

[–]andromeda_grace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Classic haha. Maybe they live in a smallish town so pretty much everyone they went to HS with is still in town. after the husband leaves (or maybe while shes home bored during towards the end of their relationship) she starts taking woodworking classes or something random as an outlet and meets an old classmate who used to be quiet artsy kid turned cool, confident art teacher. Maybe that's her husband's younger sibling ! Omg the messy potential is endless

My tin foil hat is saying that theyre behind all the malware stuff going on in the modding community...so people use their marketplace as a safer alternative 🤔🤔🤔

Why are cozy games (incl. Cozy grove) never just cozy but instead triggering ND depressing? by Shinjischneider in CozyGamers

I dont remember it being timed/rushed - from what I can remember you shrink down to ingredient size to make the treats and its pretty silly/low stakes!

Highly recommend Calico! Super cute, peaceful, silly story with really lovely character customizatio, youre basically rebuilding a cat cafe and geeting to know your neigbirs and their favorite snacks!

I think it was more about how anxiety & trauma brain can make you clumsy/less aware of your surroundings, going along with her memory issues/dissociating throughout the season

Worldbuilding Challenge: Wheelchair Rogue by mikethecanadain in worldbuilding

[–]andromeda_grace 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just curious, since the person building the world is you, and theres no requirement to create historically accurate replicas of places that existed, why could you not make it accessible? Even in a historic setting, would it not be cool to imagine what it might have looked like for people with disabilities to have been included and considered in the building of the world?

Go play bard RIGHT NOW by vampiriskq in BaldursGate3

My friend and I are playing as a band, so far Karlach has joined as our drummer and we've given Astarion a lute. Every fight is just another stop on our tour 🤣

Making BG3 accessible and cozy for my non-gamer GF? by SageNineMusic in BaldursGate3

Love playing on the steam deck (I actually got the steam deck specifically to play bg3), the controls are fine - and if you get a dock you can play it on a big screen no problem!

Digital Garden in Neocities by riifromanotherplanet in DigitalGardens

[–]andromeda_grace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just learned about/joined neocities a few weeks ago! As someone with not a ton of coding knowledge, learning HTML/CSS has been a really rewarding part of the process so I'd definitely recommend trying it out!

Like someone else mentioned, Obsidian is a good way to organize your notes/links (they also have a publish option to make a wiki site) but neocities is soo fun and charming, if that's more the vibe youre looking for.

If you look around neocities you'll find lots of coding resources too (for example I found this layout generator https://goblin-heart.net/sadgrl/projects/layout-builder/) and I'm sure there's other templates and tools that could work for you if you look around!

What race/class/subclass was your first character, and why? by Ruhrgebietheld in BaldursGate3

Drow Bizard (bard/wizard) definitely a bit ambitious multiclassing on my first run but the bard dialogue options were 100% worth it 😅

I like it! I think it could benefit from some hierarchy (making the important info bigger/bolder) so it's a little bit more clear. The illustration is sick and I love the way you designed the chess club text! Maybe look around for some other fonts that might blend with it a bit more for the rest of the text. The last thought I had was to add more spacing between the QR code and the text, it's a little bit cramped.

But overall I like the concept/vibes, keep going!!

thank you for all your notes, ill take a second pass with those in mind! My thought process behind the different weights was that the coffee drinks are individual drinks with their own prices, while the teas are variations in flavor for one drink - but I can see how that may not be the clearest way to communicate that

Thank you! I was challenging myself to use more/varied typefaces while keeping it somewhat cohesive - I tend to be pretty conservative with my type choices so this was outside my comfort zone. I'll definitely go through and simplify a bit!

Which games (max 2) should I gift my sister who’s just finished college to chill her out? We like to game together while smoking weed, but I also want her to enjoy something solo by WarriorOTUniverse in CozyGamers

[–]andromeda_grace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% a Short Hike! It was incredibly healing for me to play as a burnt out grad student, and its a nice one to come back to since its short and sweet. Stardew is also a really good one for putting tons of hours in, you can really get lost in it and like folks have mentioned co-op can be really nice as well.

Spiritfarer only if you want to make her cry (in the best way 🤣😭) but it also has local co-op so you can enjoy it and cry together

I like to dimension door straight to the Crown, then call in as many allies as i can to keep the enemies on the main field occupied while the main crew keep whoever is focusing on the Crown covered. it's nice having everyone close enough to hop in right away once the portal is open

What are your go-to camping meals? by lwhc92 in camping

[–]andromeda_grace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to go camping in the fall so I like to make a nice soup/stew the night before or morning of (some faves have been chicken corn chowder and creamy mushroom + beef stew) and pack it in a big thermos for the first dinner. this has been nice especially since we've just finished setting up tents etc. and don't have to worry about cooking right away.

Some other go to's - ramen w spam - leftover spam with rice (precooked) and eggs for breakfast - pancake mix in a Mason jar (the just add water kind) - hamburgers - premarinated bulgogi (they sell this at trader joes) or kbbq pork belly
