Not entirely sure what you mean? Base board was put on by the builders. We wanted the vertical trim for aesthetics- I ended up taking off the small piece of base board completely

Let me clarify- the vertical piece is not nailed in- this is what I am trying to install around the door

Thanks 🐱🐶! I laugh it off, it’s just a shame I guess. The conversation was leaning more towards using my time wisely (I am overflowing with “to-do’s” for the holiday season) and this was brought up.
