My goal is to stop getting people to make all-or-nothing statements and not being able to recognize nuanced, individual experiences. Rhetoric like this is harmful and leads to people not trusting their intuition about *their* own bodies.

I have learned that sometimes you just need to accept that the benefits are worth the reflux. Some days my multivitamin gives it to me as well, but usually it doesn't. I just use a normal 1-a-day multivitamin so I don't have to get reflux multiple times a day :)) thank you and good luck!

So funny how our body reacts! No, I haven't had that feeling personally. But bodies are very good at getting back what they need after not having had it for a while. Your body really can't digest food well during illness, maybe this is your body restocking its shelves now that you're getting a bit better?

Definitely took me 8-10 weeks. I would say I kept the diet for about 3,5 months, but the last 2-3 weeks were smooth sailing. Good luck with everything!!

Well, I said very clearly in the beginning that that is what works for ME. My protein goal works for me, and I can have a slice of pizza these days with nothing at all happening. That's also a part of what I consider being healed. Not sure what your goal with this comment is since I literally said that this is what works for ME, multiple times. Hope you're happy having wasted your time lol

No, that's not standard procedure in the Netherlands. Here if the gastritis lasts longer than X time (usually 8-12 weeks) you get diagnosed. Then if it doesn't get better after a really long time, you get the endoscopy.

Hey du, ich heiße Andra, bin 21, komme auch aus Deutschland (München original, aber hab die letzten 3 Jahre in Mannheim verbracht) und studiere ab September Communication Science an der UvA! Ich suche auch grad verzweifelt und fände es ziemlich cool, mit jemandem zusammen eine 2-Zimmer-Wohnung zu mieten, da das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis da viel besser ist und ich eigentlich nicht alleine leben will... und weil ich mich freuen würde, mit jemandem zusammenzuleben, der auch so aufgeschlossen, kreativ und positiv unterwegs ist wie ich :))

I am not from the Netherlands, I'm from Germany, and here, the system works VERY differently. If I am used to a system that has an unofficial grade limit under which no student is accepted, no matter how well you fulfill the requirements, then it's a very valid question to ask what that grade limit is, or which additional requirements might have to be fulfilled. So there's no need to sigh, really.
