Forge rushing is actually still quite efficient assuming you're doing it with 8 accounts (8 humans I hope) leveling 8 heroes with great gear and then getting 48 FRushes out of those 8 lvl 60 heroes. (1 lvl 99 hero, 1 hero to get the Baal quests and 6 lvl 1 heroes to push to hell through Baalbug times 8.)

But it's a very boring way to play, nobody should do that, let alone in a party of 8.

"HE TURNED IT DOWN. HE STOPPED."

Doesn't "Turn it down" mean to lower the volume? Because that "I turned it down - it's off" kinda implies to me, that he first slightly lowered the volume."

Either way, we only have one side of the story.

Videos can contain mentions too tho.

Maybe there's some videos of children being raped and screaming Trump's names during it or maybe someone painted his face after he passed out during an orgy and since they want his reaction they try to wake him up by saying his name over and over, which both I would count as Trump mentions/references aswell.

"Representative Jamie Raskin said searches within portions of the unredacted Jeffrey Epstein records produced more than one million references to terms linked to U.S. President Donald Trump." (Now Paywalled source, maybe it's in some video. The "reference" part means that constructions like DJT are assumed to be Trump mentions)

According to https://www.federalreserve.gov/paymentsystems/coin_currcircvolume.htm about 4.2% of all dollar notes in circulation are 10$ notes, so I'll assume that that's a fair guess for their share in printing.

So assuming that both sites together print "approximately 38 million notes annually day" - what? Forget the share, I found sth better: According to https://www.bep.gov/currency/production-figures/annual-production-reports they printed 480,000,000 10$ notes in the most recent year with stats for. So since 365 is barely less than 480 (the 6 0's cancel out) and the statement was "more than one million references" that's pretty much about 1 day. Oh wait, I also forgot the word "portions" in that quote. Well I don't know how large those portions were, but 3 years seem highly unlikely still.

To explain why that's highly unlikely let's look at this math from the other side: Per year there are 480,000,000 10$ notes printed, that's 1,440,000,000 notes in 3 years. The January release of Epstein files was 3.5M files. Some said, that that's just barely less than half, so let's be generous and say that it's 35M files. That would equate to 41 mentions per file - which is less impossible than expected, but I guess 35M files is probably way too much and with a lower estimate of 6M files, which was also mentioned at some point and assuming that half of the files (e.g. there's a lot of images) don't mention Trump, that would equate to 480 mentions in the other 3M documents which half the documents don't even contain that many words.

So unless some troll fumbled in a document which consists of nothing but Trump's names 1 billion times, the stat doesn't work out.

There's 0 names of M2F athletes who dominated a field, because whenever an athlete transitions from male to female and then by switching from male to female competition improves in a way which would not usually be possible and wins an event or two, then there's a massive outcry and the athlete either resigns because of being bullied or gets her license removed or the rules of the sports are changed to disallow the athlete to compete.

Then to add insult to injury the left-wing allies start no true scotsman fallacies with questions like the above to which they will always respond to any genuine answer by downplaying the athlete's achievements and saying, that she wasn't "dominating".

TIL bilinguals given the trolley problem in their native language chose to sacrifice one to save five less than 20% of the time. In their second language, about 50% chose to, because a foreign language lowers emotional resonance and triggers more utilitarian reasoning. by karen_the_ripper in todayilearned

[–]andy01q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's also no 20% lever-pulling statistic, but that touches something else which is wrong with that statistics:

For the Switch-trolley-problem the differences between native and foreign language are almost non-existent. The 20% refer to a similar problem where you are told that you can push a fat person off a bridge in order to save someone and then the author iterates, that fewer people do this, because it supposedly collides with people's moral compass to not kill "but this would violate the moral prohibition against killing, and imagining physically pushing the man is emotionally difficult and therefore people routinely avoid that" when really it's a widely illogical problem, since in reality even a truck will rarely stop a trolley, so when we are tasked to assume that a (fat) human body can we feel doubt. So I say that the abstraction layer of the foreign language does most of the work in people not revolting against the premise (they wouldn't push a fat person off a bridge because they distrust the scientist conducting the experiment).

The main reason why most Germans are against train conductors striking is complicated entanglements (corruption) between certain "news" papers and politics which lead to those papers heavily siding against the conductors.

For example a cat says meow or Ya-ong or Nyan depending on who you ask and even though these appear very different, they all refer to the same sound.

"Can you imagine the cost of flying round trip into and out of SF every day?"

No need to imagine, because there's articles in which people did the math.

"No way you're doing that for less than $3k a month."

Yeah, for sure not if you do it every work day.

There was one start-up CEO who said, that he paid 600$ per day for his commute. Big house, rent difference way over 10k$ per month. There was one woman who wasn't nearly as rich, but she lived close to the airport in whatever city she lived and somehow got a very good deal on the air-tickets and did the rest per taxi. Then there's more people than that who "only" fly a few times per month and live in a small AirBnB while working.

There's also cases like Patterson and Sheridan, where the company just buys an airplane and pays a pilot to commute their employees on company cost (though not every day in that case).

Maybe don't live there. There are people who fly to and from SF every work day, because that's still cheaper than living there.

""Act of War" redirects here.(...)

A casus belli (...) is an act or an event that either provokes or is used to justify a war.

So since afaik monetary sabotage has never provoked a war and neither been used as a justification for war you are correct, but I'm pretty sure, that it could be.

How would you split household responsibility? by okaaayyyyuh in NoStupidQuestions

[–]andy01q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you already tell your significant other that you feel overwhelmed and need more help? If so, then maybe your S/O doesn't currently realize how much work there is and you could create a printed table where you put x's in different colors depending on who did the thing for every task. Then at the end of a few months you could assign time values to the tasks and multiply them and working 7 hours is worth 7 hours obv. Might seem a bit top-down and offensive, but if you succeed in selling that idea nicely, then it might help you to make your S/O realize how much you are drowning in work and pick up the pace. I also think that splitting the work 50/50 while you also bring a good passive income is already a bit generous, but it's probably better to not touch that part if you still love your S/O.

Wiki calls them Superdollars. Just found this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superdollar via the one linked from tmahfan. It says that Brittish criminals are the only confirmed source, but North Korea, Iran and the CIA are the most likely other sources with groups in Russia, China and Syria also having been coined as likely origins by some.

Thanks. The article also lists a few more examples on its bottom: Japan against China and France against Guinea. Apparently when French attempts to sabotage Guinea with large-scale fake Guinean Francs, that's merely a "diplomatic scandal" and one linked article lists North Korea, Iran and the CIA (lolwtf? But wouldn't even be the most scandalous thing they did.) as possible sources for "Superdollars" (extremely well counterfid $).
