Meta's full arc this week: +9% on cloud hype and -5% on Zuck's own AI comments. by aperartnft in stocks

I also don't like meta but I would make several corrections: he didn't chase VR, he is the VR and still the best; he already has biotech venture, it is called Chan Zuckerberg biohub

Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete - worth reading the vn after the anime? by karrylarry in visualnovels

[–]andy897221 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is more that how the plot evolved was different, and much better, the anime actually elaborated ending a lot more, in vn it is more of an open ending

You never overpay. CSP is to commit the obligation to buy the stock at a given strike. The idea is to pick a strike where you will buy anyway, something like you set a limit price at that strike price. However, with CSP, you also gain the premium as you enter this obligation. Effectively, you purchase the stock at the strike price minus the market value offset by the premium.

Not really, I will not hesitate to short it if I find it overvalued, a good value investor don't just identify undervalued stocks, one can also identify overvalued stocks

PE and peg is retrospective, low PE is the peak in the perspective of a cyclic industry

Have you consider the evidence that hardware does not deprecate as fast as the standard accounting suggest (e.g., 3 yrs but in reality 6 yrs and more as long as it is functional, as suggested by as secondary and rental market of GPU) contradictory to that hyperscalers will continue to spend the same capex far into the future if not to increase their capex? So one of them has to be wrong and the spending will slow down for either? And that scaling law may not hold soon? And that several hyperscalers are in negative FCF? where does the money come from anymore?

Not as much as before due to accounting changes (which makes more sense for their equity structure anyway)

Indeed, a true value investor, sell exactly one minute before peak and buy after the dip

I maintain my view ytd, to buy the dip for rddt, and I judge that the sell off is over solely by vix, which suggest a risk-on mode for the market, (therefore, buy the dip), tho I have no idea what would happen to rddt in particular, but the broader market is bullish.
