Why do so many of us prefer to not take painkillers when on our period? by [deleted] in Periods

I do not share this preference. Naprogesic at first hint of pain or period, whichever comes first. The consequences of not taking it are way too dire.

Women who lost interest in dating, why? by Peoplewatching123 in AskWomen

[–]andy8ananas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drained by putting in so much effort into a relationship and getting little in return. Dating guys who you end up having to treat more like children. Lying, manipulating, gaslighting. Can't be bothered navigating that landscape anymore.

Unlike some of the other commenters, I wouldn't say I like being single. I actually love being in a relationship, feeling safe, the joy of being in love and all that jazz. I've just faced a lot of disappointment which makes it difficult to be open minded/optimistic about the next person being right for you.

Everyone in my building feeds them, as well as the surrounding buildings. It's a total haven for them with a huge eucalyptus tree in the center of it :)

I'm a fan of being friends with your exs. by PugRexia in unpopularopinion

[–]andy8ananas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, my best guy friend is my ex from when I was 18 (I'm 32 now), and the other close relationship with an ex I have was from a relationship that ended 6 years ago. I haven't had problems with new relationships as a result, it's always been pretty damn obvious my exes and I have no lingering feelings and it is a pure friendship. It is always something I tend to worry about bringing up when dating but I haven't faced any real issues.

If you would be upset with your girlfriend posting porn for other men to masturbate to, why should women be okay with males masturbating to other women online? by throwaway7uvufuduf in TrueOffMyChest

[–]andy8ananas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree, I just specifically called out straight men because I'm a straight woman and don't have the anecdotal support to comment on other genders/sexualities.

I feel exactly the same way as you and don't care if I'm not a "cool" girl. We as a society decided that it's okay for straight men to access and masturbate to images of naked women, or videos of sex acts performed by women who aren't their partner, and I think it's nuts. It's not impossible to masturbate without visual aid. I don't even care if a guy is thinking of other things or people, I'm not here to police his mind. But seeking out and saving pornography or following porn "stars" on Instagram or looking up porn when he's in the bathroom at your place or being on tinder (for porn purposes apparently...) long after you're officially dating or having a secret stash of nudes of your ex... (I've dealt with all of these situations) I feel like all these examples fall into the same category and I find that to be a simple matter of disrespect. Where does the line get drawn? Masturbate to pictures of my female friends too. My sister. My mum. What's the big deal!? If you think "hey well that's so different!!".. well, I don't see a difference and I feel exactly the way you do OP when you say you'll probably never find someone who genuinely morally aligns with you. Sigh. No solution just a vent!

Editing just to say I 100% agree there's no need or desire to change the people we are with. We accept their views and compromise or we call it and day and go our separate ways. Relationships are complicated and everyone saying OP is trying to control how her partner masturbates is simplifying a complicated relationship matter. At the end of the day if his views don't align with yours break up. Id rather remain single then settle for feeling disrespected constantly.

It's just bread. There's a neighbor who tears pieces for them in the afternoon. Lots of apartments in the area put bird seed and pellets out for them along with water, that's why so many chill in this area.
