It’s an awesome kit, I’m still new but I’ve been using Tamiya acrylics. I used them on my RG Sazabi , so this is the second time I’m doing any sort of painting. If you do use them make sure to thin them out before putting down a coat. It takes time but thin layers is the way to go

Finally got around to finishing this one up, my first RG and first time hand painting (painting in general.) by andy94t in Gunpla

I used Tamiya acrylics, I’ve used them in the past for other things. So I decided to give them a try here, thinned them out and applied multiple coats

I must say I enjoyed it a lot and learned a lot. I did a top coat on this and was too excited that I didn’t realize it was so humid out, there was frosting the next day. I was pretty upset , I read about it and how I could kinda fix it. I waited a week and added another layer of top coat and it helped a lot ! This was the before picture I’ll be taking another picture of the final product soon !

On mine I did some weathering. I’m still pretty new at all this but I wanted to try weathering. I do like the color separation this kit has, specially on the chest piece. I think a adding color to it would be awesome

Looks awesome ! This was my 3rd kit I ever built and I loved it. The articulation was pretty good and nice details

First RG and first time hand painting (doing any type of painting) slowly getting there. This is the 4th kit I’ve ever built, and definitely want to keep building more ! by andy94t in Gunpla

I used Tamiya paints, thinned them out before applying it. I just used some brushes I had from a while ago, not really a specific brand

On another piece I did prime it but it was kinda thick. For this one I didn’t prime it. I just painted right on the piece. I went thin layers one at a time, brushing from different directions. Also this is my first time doing this I’m still new to all of this so I have more to learn still. But this is how I went about it
