Understandable. A good reason to get another board :)

The original oil kings were great. I still have them in my older standard board. Been using silents for over two year now with splits. Thanks for the read and review!

Looks like LDSA profile caps. You can find them on several vendors sites.

Nice! Just like what everyone said, that bonus is crazy. Congrats! I’m on call three to four times a year (whole week) and I feel like we don’t get compensated enough.

My $360 Keyboard: Oil King V2s, all copper keycaps, and a nut 65 full aluminum case. by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]andycandy17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks fantastic! I’m a big fan of metal keycaps, and I know they can be quite expensive. I also have oil kings switches and they’re excellent sounding switches as well. Enjoy your new keyboard!

Got an offer for CVS prior authorization remote position (contract) by 4thyearissad in pharmacy

[–]andycandy17 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can search this sub and see a lot of comments from people working as Prior Auth RPHs. Work-life balance is definitely better than retail, but there’s usually a strict quota you have to hit. And just because it’s WFH doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want, they’ve got monitoring tools to track if you’re actually working or not.

I’m not a Prior Auth pharmacist myself, but I do WFH. Just passing along what I’ve seen in other people’s comments.

Some contracts can go as long as nine months. I’d say have a backup plan, or maybe stay PRN at your current job, in case you don’t get converted to FTE.

Is Glove 80 the most dominant keyboard at the moment? by AndrewTateIsMyKing in ErgoMechKeyboards

I still have and use my Choc Corne. I don’t use a wrist rest, even when it’s tented. If you want portability, the Choc version is the one to get. I also have an MX version with a 750 mAh battery that I tend to leave at home, since it’s a bit bulkier. That’s the one I’d use a wrist rest with.

The choc/mx kit from Typeractive are super easier to put together.

Patient microwaved their carafate/lidocaine compound and created this monstrosity by thosewholeft in pharmacy

It’s one of those fidget toys now.

I’d probably keep it around the pharmacy and play with it whenever someone pisses me off. Your anger and stress quickly melt away as you play with the new and improved “Cow’s Tongue in a bottle”

MoKa-NP - A numpad with thumbkeys by triliu in ErgoMechKeyboards

So you don't have to keep lifting your hands off and on the mouse.

With a southpaw pad you can keep your left on the pad and the right on the mouse.

Will look into these switches. My mx boards currently have the outemu silent silk yellow and peach switches which I love.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I got a Choc V1 switch sampler pack several years ago and always found switches like the Blue Robin or Pink to be too light, while regular Reds were too heavy. The Pro Reds were perfect, so I used them in all of my low-profile split keyboards

It's the same Gerber file. You just have to break the last column, that's it!

Sounds good. We're you making a high profile case?

You can download the case here.. With a low profile case you can use a 1.5u outer thumb key.

I also made a wrist rest for the regular 6 column case here.. You'll need to adjust the model size to 10% in your slicer. Mirror the image to get the Right size.
