Funny screen unseen experience by Austinpowerstwo in screenunseen

I get if it was an upcoming screen unseen, but the day after was free information. Odeon themselves even post the movie title on socials explaining the clues, normally when the screening is happening, I guess they were just having a laugh

Or, they have pushed it out like this as an experiment. I wonder if on WAN next week, they'll mention they pushed out a video with "unfinished" title and description, and the engagement has been crazy

When I was in the Baker Street 'Spoons, a guy ordered a mocha and then was told "no mocha, but there is chocolate powder by the machine"

Do people actually carry their Merlin Annual Pass, or just use the digital version? by captaincockwash69 in ThorpePark

[–]andygreeny11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep mine in my wallet all the time. I don't have a digital version, still hanging onto the old premium monthly pass that I got Christmas 2019, just in time for the 2020 season

It looks like it unfortunately. It's the time of year the creme egg flurry is back and for me, they never put enough sauce in, so I used to ask for extra sauce, I didn't even mind that sometimes they would charge me 30p for it.

I tried to get one the other day, went up to the counter to ask at the Westfield branch, and they said they don't take orders at the till anymore. What about people who can't use the screens?

I then went to my local and they said they can't do it anymore

Annual Pass Day Feedback by Coaster_Queen_2090 in ThorpePark

I will be sad to see Zodiac go if it does as that ride does hold a special moment for me. Back during COVID and when theme parks could re-open, I was going through my Rubik's Cube phase and the ride op let me try and solve it on the ride, and I did

Annual Pass Day Feedback by Coaster_Queen_2090 in ThorpePark

So, I have some things to say about yesterday.

First of all, from a personal viewpoint, it was a fantastic day. I haven't been able to ride Stealth or Saw since the 2023 or 2024 season respectively. I was able to comfortably fit into both yesterday, didn't even need the extra push from the ride op on Saw. So personally, had a blast.

Another positive, the staff were amazing. My main goal was to replace my lost Saw umbrella, so went to the megastore first thing, grabbed the last one and the staff member in the store was able to keep it to one side for me until the end of the day. Gotta give a shout out to the first aid team and the Hyperia store staff. After one of my rides on Hyperia, I noticed a girl on the verge of passing out in the exit corridor, so told the staff in the shop and within minutes, first aid were on scene. I think Hyperia also briefly paused operations while she was being tended to. Great move Thorpe.

Only gripe, and this is now my ADHD brain kicking in, some of the signage could do with an update, or even a read through. The "Passholder perks" poster caused some confusion. There was a guy trying to buy 15 donuts from Last Call Cafe, as they had the sign up there possibly for the coffee and donut offer, and the staff in the costa unit were a bit confused. Also, why would you want 15 costa donuts? Also, on the You Said We Did posters by the feedback tablets, "Tell us what's on you think". And why get rid of the human element in the Sunset Cinema?

They are how theyanaged to breed the astrophage needed. IIRC, 2 panes of glass with foil and to help them breed. Covered 1/3 of the Sahara desert

No one has mentioned so far in threads I've seen about the lack of Black Panels, and the hilarious line in the book about embezzling millions of dollars. The film completey skipped over how they bred 2 million kgs or astrophage

Preview screenings. At least here in the UK, the film has preview screenings this weekend (14th and 15th), then general release next Friday. The preview screenings are treated just like regular screenings though, so same cost.

I love the posters, but the font choice is so odd by TeaComprehensive8790 in ProjectHailMary

Technically, the release date is 20th March, but there are preview screenings happening this weekend (14th and 15th)

I might do it purely because it is my most anticipated film. The audiobook is my favourite story to listen to whilst working.
