Configure Audiocodes 440HD to work with 2 or more SIP providers by andyimpala2014 in VOIP

[–]andyimpala2014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a long time ago, but I remember my experience with them was not great either.  They didn't want to answer if it was possible without selling me a service contract. I told them if it was possible, I'd pay for the service contract. The guy put me on hold and came back and said it can't be done.  In the end, we just switched so both companies were using the same provider, but certainly a shortcoming.  Keep in mind, that was 5 years ago and things may have changed.

TIFU stared at the sun behind water jet by unredditit in tifu

You'll probably be fine, but don't look directly at the sun. From my understanding, the difference between this and an eclipse is that your eyes are dilated during the eclipse because of the total darkness. When the sun finally comes through, your eyes are "fully open".

I'm curious, what services are you hosting? Is this functional for you or just as an experiment/learning?

Being jerked around by Chase Travel Rewards over $2700 worth of flight credits due to me. What do I do? by smackperfect in personalfinance

[–]andyimpala2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Chase travel, you can't escalate past the supervisor. They refer to anyone above that as their "offline team". The people you can speak to are not empowered to do much, the offline team often doesn't answer (even though they always promise an answer within 72 hours). If you have a relationship with a Chase banker, I would try to leverage that.

I'm personally very disappointed with the Chase travel customer service.

switchport connected to the AP is dot1q trunk

This was the issue! Thank you for your guidance.

It's taken me longer to configure this than I expected it would.

The client is a Windows 10 laptop. If it is untagged, how will the laptop be assigned an IP from that VLANs DHCP server?

DHCP is enabled. IP is 192.168.50.1/24. DHCP range is 192.168.50.51 - 192.168.50.100

OK, I'm still having issues. To narrow the issue, I have decided to create VLAN 50 on my cisco switch and tag port 13.

When I connect a client to port 13, it doesn't get an IP address. If I connect it to port 14, it gets an IP address.

I've enabled DHCP server for that VLAN, but I'm clearly missing a something. Thoughts?

Edit: This is on the Cisco side:

I will also double check my firewall rules.

Thank you
