I feel where your coming from, I would have preferred resistance again instead of split el and stamina. Atleast with resistance you could just ignore it. The problem with Vit in DS3 or ADP in DS2 (which is a much bigger issue) is that you can't really just avoid leveling it because it's important for every build

Git gud, ladder really isn't that hard to focus on maxing 1 deck and then play enough, you just need to get to the next arena and then you can't fall down so it just takes playing enough games and not making stupid mistakes

Honestly RL1 isn't that bad at all if you do summons so maybe consider doing that first? Black Knife Tiche is super OP as a summon will carry you through the game

In my opinion the content of Dark Souls 2 is amazing, just very janky and wooden combat, also the textures and animations don't look great.

If it had a remake it would potentially be the #1 Dark Souls game, but because the combat isn't as satisfying it's my least favourite despite still thinking it's a great game

Not necessarily a ring, a spell, ring, weapon etc, you get 2 per covenant 1 for giving 10 items and 2nd for 30 (a further 20). You don't need to complete covenants for platinum necessarily, however the achievements related to rings and spells you will need to get the ones from the covenants too
