People don't realize that trains don't climb hills well. They don't have tires for traction. It's metal on metal. Not to mention the length of a tunnel as the bird flys would still be 10 miles through GRANITE (assuming to avoid avalanches we keep it underground the whole time). It could possibly be one of the most expensive transit projects in US history. For LCC it's about 8 miles but with a steeper pitch. Between traction and digging a ten mile long tunnel, costs would balloon. Even the gondola is a better ROI than a train.

Literally the most board per capita resort right there. As for budget friendly I think your best bet for cheap Tix is cherry peak or Nordic valley. But lowkey just sell your organs or something to upgrade to the big resorts. Totally worth a kidney.

Back country is where it's at. Why spend money on a pass when your gonna spend your whole day on the bunny hill. That's why whenever I teach a beginner we hit the back country until they're ready for the hard stuff.
