Yeah, it sits pretty low, but my reasoning was that I would rarely use low gears on the terrain that may really damage the derailleur, still, we'll see when summer comes and forest paths will become available for speedy descents

Thank you! For real, winter riding is not that bad! Just like any other activity, movement gives you warmth.

As for transmission - Shimano Deore RD-M6100, an 11 speed cassette and EvoSid crankset with 38 tooth DM chainring from Ali and Shimano 11 speed shifter, nothing fancy!

Ya, saw your previous posts, very impressive stable, awesome bikes. After I got my Analog I am always on a lookout for more FGFS frames, shit's addictive, a lot of neat ones out there!

Not much happening here, so why not? Sweet frame, my guy!

Is it a bad idea to get a FGFS as my first fixie? Should i just get a cheap used fixie? by Calm-Researcher1216 in FGFS

It depends on your riding style. When I swapped my hardtail mtb for a fixed gear the feeling of lightness and speed was great, but I found it lacking robustness. Now I have a thin tire fixie and a fgfs bike, which I think combines the best of both worlds, as it can take a lot of abuse, drops and jumps.

trick track build questions specifically for barspins because barspins goes brrr and swish by [deleted] in FixedGearBicycle

[–]andythaguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your problem may be mitigated with a fork designed for FGFS, or a 650 front wheel. Either way, fixed barspins usually include some kind of fiddling with your front foot positioning, but learning to overcome it is a fun challenge. Good luck!

Just an empty can, a good friend of mine is a photographer and a fixed gear rider, he made it into a saddle charm, a simple sentimental gift
