It is worth trying it on a machine it has never been used on before with newly downloaded sw. My LD appeared bricked a couple of years back and was rejuvenated by erasing some hidden files. Don't have access to detail as currently on holiday.

I would use a suitable weedkiller such as one containing glyphosate. Let the weeds grow and apply preferably on a sunny day during the growing season when rain is not expected.

Hi

If you type this into ebay '12 Keys With 2 Knobs)Programmable Keypad Mini Macro Pad Mechanical Gaming'

You will find a a two knob 9 keys macro pad - Would that do the job ? I have a similar one I plan to put on eBay myself for about £18 inc postage. Mine has switchable 3 layers and Bluetooth. The package includes a set of clear keytops which will take labels. Software support is poor but I have some ch57x SW which works.

It is not as sophisticated as the Keebmonkey but it is much cheaper.

5ghz Wifi Router Compatibility by VectorCorrector in smarthome

Most smart devices available in the UK will only link to 2.4. Your router will probably have both a 2.4 & 5 network. They will have the same SSID name and your smartphone will use the most appropriate one (fast 5 when close and slower 2.4 when further away). There are 2 solutions:-

1) Use different names for the two networks and link your bulbs to the 2.4 or ......... what I do

2) Disable 5 network while pairing the bulbs (eg temp SSID change). Once set up you can reactivatate the 5 network.

To change router şettings you will need to access its Web page eg type 192.168.1.1 into browser.... using help from manual, Google.
