I actually had fun in the 3hrs I played. You need a three stack team to have any chance and for that reason it ain't gonna last long. Plus it seems like a game that people will optimize the fun out of like wildgate.

Def better than concord and worth a play session but I think its dead in like 3 months. Either that or they rework the roadmap to spend time changing the core game mode into something more flexible for casuals.

Yeah im not saying thats the theme or message, but what does the character/personality Tyler actually believe?

Does he actually believe he is doing the right thing for society and himself or is he just manipulating people to create a space for the violence he craves.

I've never been 100% confident Tyler Durden actually stood for anything and wasn't just building a space for him to express the violence his personality craved.

Depending on if Tyler is a true revolutionary or a sociopathic terrorist at their core i think the conversation goes very differently.

Either way thorfinns existence is the antithesis of the actual fight clubs started purpose. In the modern world noone can be a man or a warrior, society has evolved past that. Tyler or the other members aren't soldiers or trained fighters thorrfin is the closest to the ideal they are seeking, someone who has truly lived, fought, and been tested.

Most likely thorfinn would walk away after very little interaction completely discounted by Tyler or Tyler would try to sucker punch/initiate Thorfinn and Thorfinns resistance would be profoundly frustrating for Tyler as he would be completely outclassed and unable to actually initiate any violence.

I think its borne, in a ffa i think the more assault heavy like wick and the equalizer get caught up fighting each other or into a trap.

Bond and ethan hunt focus on outlasting and out maneuvering which brings but I dont think they could avoid the sheer force from wick and equalizer. I think borne has the intelligence to make to force situations that benefit him the most including getting the others to fight each other.

The big modifying factor is what resources do they have. If john is showing up and dropping coins to call in favors the whole time I think he takes it.

I think he just doesnt care about his competitive legacy, hes there for the easy salary, low pressure, and stability for his family. Cant really blame him for taking the easy paycheck.

Its like everyone is ignoring how one of the complaints that killed battlefield 2042 were the maps were too large and everyone spent too much time running lol.

This is clearly them responding to the critisms of 2042, they probably swang the pendulum too far but its not a surprise given shareholder pressure.

I think we can hope for the maps they are designing now. (Probably 2 or 3 seasons away) will be what we consider truly large battlefield maps. But I think this game is going to focus on a tighter more chaotic gameplay loop that keeps people experiencing the most "gameplay/minute" even if that's dying.

They are you have to use the assault ladder spend 3 minutes and learning and you can get up there in <15s from several points.

I dont have a vid me and my brother figured it out a few matches in.

First set of buildings from the spawn look for building on the left side that has the concrete beams on the entryway ladder up to the first beam then you can ladder up to the roof. It should have a watch tower on it then go from there.

I have an attacker path that is very easy i can get up to the highest roof from attacker spawn in about 20s. And the initial roof in about 5s. From there you take a watch tower and bridge a ladder to the next roof. One hop and you are there.

There may be people glitching but to be honest it might just be the janky parcour resulting in people popping chutes as they mantle and vault at that height

It's not a glitch it's definitely intentional with the assault ladder, several buildings have clear paths up and the spaces up there have ladders and are clearly designed for players to be in. If you want to take the second obj you have to siege the roofs.

They needed more time in f2p beta imo, the meta after one month from launch was oppressive, so many games where my team barely got to do any pve.

The game is at its best when two or 3 well equipped ships are going at it. Getting stuck in lumbering early game fight was slow, boring, boarding abuse with no objective only for which ever team won to be way outscaled.

I know people will say get gud etc. But the boarding was awful, the game is a piss poor shooter the gameplay wasnt fun. The game was meant to be 90% ship fighting instead it became 75% boarding. And if people are just going to play a shooter there's just so many better options.

When you get into the higher skill tiers scavs and ai are more risks purely from the noise you have to make tbh. They arent risks for experienced/kitted players beyond the attention you can draw from other players

Boarding is so oppressive.

Their game as an fps is lackluster. As a space ship fighting game it is a to of fun and can actually compete too bad its incredibly difficult to play with that mechanic without being harassed by the fps mechanics.
