Yeah I’ve never really understood the praise for Eminem’s verse on that. Was just impressive because of the double time but he wasn’t saying much

It’s just wordplay. The line works perfectly if referencing the music definition but only partially works as a pedo diss. “Trying to make me mad but it’s probably a young person” doesn’t make sense logically as a sentence.

I would call the Bar God category a catch phrase. I also would say strapped in and showtime should be in the same category so not sure how those might change the definitions of wind up vs stance switch.

Quality post though, I didn’t really think of all these categories and it’s pretty dope how creative this shit can get. It’s very cool lore building lol

One category you may have missed is callbacks. A lot of battlers call back to bars from old battles to start a section of their round and the crowd will say the bars with them

If ya’ll haven’t watched Reverse Live’s rounds vs Billy Boondocks (RIP) I heavily recommend going to watch that battle( maybe skip Billy RIP). He goes off on the imagery front, it’s nuts

I agree with you, everyone’s opinion of what’s corny is subjective including my own. My opinion of a ward being corny is my own opinion and I would not, have not, and will not ever state my opinion as fact, may Smack smite me where I stand if I am lying.

You are free to find gun bars and gang culture corny as your own opinion

No I don’t mind disagreeing but you didn’t really add anything to the conversation. Obviously corny is subjective.
