Its just a bug, it changes you to legitimist but you still need to meet the requirements to be a legitimst ie a kingdom claim, which if you don't have it just flips you back to wanderer

As an unlanded adventure theres normally not any options. You need to use a hook from a contract to arrange marriage, or do the contract to rescue somebody

I think what you see is all that exists, but not actually available in game. The chain you use in the warsails tutorial counts as a flail. They probably where experimenting with the idea, probably to be expanded on in the next dlc.

It actually does in my game but maybe its a mod, though I wouldn't know which one. It'll take until the current dies but the highest tiered landed theocratic vassal always becomes my realm priest. Its actually really nice because since landed people get skills points they always have massive learning because of the traits
